The Bloc Québécois is calling on the Superior Court of Quebec to order a byelection in the riding of Terrebonne, where the party lost by one vote, as Elections Canada revealed issues with five more mail-in ballots.
Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet announced at a news conference in Ottawa on Thursday that the party is challenging the result of the riding. Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné — the party’s candidate in the riding — and Bloc MP Christine Normandin were present.
“Since Elections Canada cannot by themselves ask for the election to be repeated, we have to bring this situation in front of a judge, in a court, in order to do the election all over again,” Blanchet said.
Go Bloc, I hope they fight this one and win.

Maybe a hundred or so “candidates” from obscure and sundry parties can register to run at that same time, just to add credence to the new MP.
I have to agree with Blanchett on this one. Election Canada rules are very clear on the matter and the “law” is on his side. However, the Liberal judiciary, I suspect is not, but we will see.
The Liberal activist group that torpedoed PP’s ON riding by running 90+ candidates to screw the vote, has vowed to put forth 200+ to run against him in his run in AB. But, no way, this is election interference, at least not in Socialist Canada. Not only that, but PP running as a Federalist in AB with the Independence moving growing so rapidly, will likely be problematic, for him. Canada is road kill. Nothing will bring the corpse back to life. There is only one alternative. The Golden Age, awaits.
There aren’t 200 people who would vote for anyone but PP in that riding so I’m pretty sure adding 200 candidates will make no difference to the outcome. He will still secure 82% of the vote. If a Liberal advocacy group from Ontario comes to Alberta in an attempt to sway the election, he may win 92% of the vote.
PP lost his seat more because the boundaries changed. This brought in a bunch of civil servants and immigrants ahead usually vote Liberal. Perhaps that change should be investigated. But the winning Liberal candidate go just over 50% of the vote so the huge number of other candidates had basically no affect.
PP’s election was rigged.

I was alluding also to the broader concerns surrounding the election, such as what Bob Daye noted above. I haven’t seen where PP has said anything about that. Oh, and PP should be concerned about this, regardless of it being between Libs and the Bloc in that riding.

I do not believe there is any other way to sort this one out. By-election needed.
I am glad the Bloc is doing it. It will showcase just how craven and politically corrupt the courts are when they announce that Terrebonne voters can’t be trusted to sort it out themselves in a by-election.

Elections Canada is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the corrupt Liberal racist Party.
Here is a riding they knew they could rig but they let it get this close, the Party will demand someone be shuffled off elsewhere into the bureaucracy where incompetence can be rewarded.
Hopefully the Bloc has this resolved by court, I think both sides deserve to know why there are so many ballots set aside in Quebec as well, If Elections Canada needs to have an official re-count done 10 times before they get this right, then so be it. The number of spoiled ballots compared to the margin of win, is ridiculous.
Elections Canada dropped the ball on this, and Canada Post needs their knuckles rapped as well for their role in the letters which were returned.
The level of incompetence at every input from all levels of gov’t in Canada is amazing, I try to not get used to how idiotic they all are, and every day I’m surprised to see new levels of it.

The entire selection was completely fraudulent. Will be nice if this exposes some of the utter corruption of selections canuckistan. Given that the cons drew support away from both the liebs and the dippers, where did all those lieb votes come from? Immigration does explain some of them but legally there is a waiting process before you become an elector.
Their is only 1 way to resolve this; have only paper ballots, have only one day to vote and in person, no late or mail in ballots. Only Canadian citizens voting, must have proper ID. If we continue down this road it will soon be not worth voting, which I fear is the intent of the liberals. We as a country are in deep trouble. Steve O
