  1. 1.5 million officially unemployed in the Turdhole Dystopia.
The employment rate is below 61%.

    StatsCanada, March.

    https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/250404/dq250404a-eng.htm

“Among core-aged men (25 to 54 years old), employment edged down (-16,000; -0.2%) in March and the employment rate fell 0.4 percentage points to 86.3%. Employment held steady in March among core-aged women, and the employment rate for this group was little changed at 80.5%.

In March, employment was little changed for youth (aged 15 to 24). On a year-over-year basis, the employment rate was down for both young women (-1.3 percentage points to 54.6%) and young men (-1.0 percentage points to 53.4%).”

I look at these numbers backwards, 13.7% and 19.5% of core-aged men and women aren’t employed.

    1. approximately 456,000 Canadians are collecting EI right now, according to StatsCan. So you have to ask what are the other 1 million people doing that they aren’t employed?

  2. Resisting Donald Trump is more important to the church than defending the faith or promoting Christianity. I left the church a few decades ago when no mass could go by without a gratuitous swipe at Ralph Klein. I feel more Christian now than I have since I was a child.

    1. I am a quiet Christian, but I do not belong to any church. When my daughter was born in 1990, I started back to church when she was 3 to give her a Christian upbringing. Sadly, the church which I chose was more interested in how much money I could give them. I could not help in the nursery unless I was a church member and tithed 10% of my income to them. At that time, I was self-employed and my successful business (commercial design) had hit the toilet because of the recession which affected design and construction. I was going through my savings and ended up taking in students for an English language school in order to pay the bills. There was no extra money for tithing. The church was also upset in that I was a single mother who owned her home and car and had a business. In their eyes, I should have been a “crack whore” whom they could save.

      1. As a genuine Christian, I am grieved to hear your story, JMM. (I use the word Genuine because there are so many fakes.) But I still thank you for telling it.
I will probably start a crapstorm with some…..but tithing was an old testament ruling in order to support the Levitical priesthood. It ended the day that priesthood ended – the day Christ died.
In the new testament, we are to give whatever we deem appropriate. Some churches use the word “tithe” unthinkingly, because they just don’t understand what they are saying. But your experience was the result of a deliberate false teaching.
        Lot of that going around.
Myself, I give a lot to individuals I see in need – pay somebody’s rent or another person’s dental bills, send a kid off to summer camp. Usually in secret.
Again, thanks for your words. I will not “apologize for my brethren” cuz I am not sure that church are my brethren at all.
Take Care, JMM. And again, thanks. There is much work to be done.

      2. Wow. That grieves me as a fellow Christian. And as a fellow SURVIVOR who understands what it takes to survive. Teaching English was inspired. It’s a shame you couldn’t teach your church about sensitivity … and about Christ’s Love. But you gave that Love to your daughter. You’ve made her resilient and strong … if she understands her mom.

    2. Where were the reasons and evidence presented in that article that confirmed the article’s argument? For that matter, is there any understanding of how the Church operates in that article?

I am continually bemused at how people who steadfastly deny the Church, are not members of it, are even self-proclaimed enemies of the Church, and know really nothing about it, still seem obsessively concerned (to the point of wanting to dictate what the Church does) with the Church’s decisions.

  3. Re: Cash is King

Well that’s a bit of good news in a roundabout sort of way. Doesn’t mean Millionaire Marx Carney won’t take yours, that’s why the corrupt Liberals have their private police force, the RCMP to back them up.

  4. Good to see that diversity still remains our number one strength. I cannot wait to see what the next 20-30 years of diversity looks like! (If you’re dense enough to not know, there’s just a drip of sarcasm in my statement).

Everywhere is turning into such a dump. It’s not these cultural enrichers fault is it?

  5. RE:Media’s favorite lie.
However much you hate pollsters, it’s not enough.

  6. Sparky cars are essential to fighting global warming, and we must all do our part however painful that may be.
