  2. As the Prof. says … with approval numbers like that … we don’t have anything remotely resembling a “Democracy” as the government elites and their corporate cronies do the exact opposite of what The People really want.

    Yeah … this is a CRY for populism … a CRY for Trump!

  5. I was kind of surprised that 73% think doctors are corrupt. Only 1 in 5 (20%) think doctors are “honorable people.”

    What a cultural change that has been. You can, obviously, point to COVID as a catalyst for that, but there are other reasons as well. They stopped doing house calls years ago. That removed the personal relationship as opposed to a purely clinical one currently. Then there is the over zealous prescription application. Those Opioids don’t just grow on trees. They got out there in general circulation through prescription. There’s a whole army of doctors that side with either plaintiff attorneys or defense attorneys on disability claims, and hold the reputation for one or the other without full consideration of clinical objectiveness.

    Lots of reasons for this I guess. It’s depressing.

    1. I’ve noticed (ala Covid, if Fauci and the NIH say its true…) that younger doctors lack intellectual curiosity and tend to operate in a formulaic and “programmed” manner, that is, they just regurgitate what they were programmed to believe in medical school. It’s certainly not reassuring, nor behavior that inspires confidence.

      1. And those that do have intellectual curiosity are beaten into submission like circus monkeys.

      2. Look what happened to the Doctors who wandered off the Public Health Narrative and questioned the government edicts … they were all canceled and worse.

        No, the young Doctors were intimidated into conformity. After all … they behave just like FBI Agents who will go along with Lawfare … not wanting to lose their pensions. The young Doctors have student loans to payoff. So they shut up and conform.

  11. So 81% think that government is corrupt. The other 19% KNOW that the government is corrupt.
