  1. I agree we are seeing a move to more core traditions, hard to see in the internet world but it’s there. One other note, been seeing a lot of shade cast on Murray and Peterson lately from people who should know better. Look, you’ll never find people 100% copacetic with your opinions, but when some one who shares your worldviews for the most part, it’s best to keep it to yourself or find others to knock because it’s a barrel of fish out there.
    And remember,
Hillary Clinton was supposed to win.
George Smitherman was supposed to win.
Kamala Harris was supposed to win.

  2. It’s clear that Americans are leaving the legacy media in droves and that Joe Rogan, for example, has ten or more times the audience of Rachel Maddow. This facilitated the Trump victory.

Do Canadian podcasters have anywhere near the power?

    1. No Canadian pod casters have a Rogan sized audience, which is why I am glad that Rogan and some others take time to critique Canada.

    2. No one has as big of an audience as Joe Rogan. In terms of Canadian podcasts, if you exclude the ones funded by the government, Peterson has a fairly large audience, but most Canadians have unpersoned him, and won’t take anything he has to say seriously.

      1. I’m going to start a series of discussions of Robert Heinlein’s juvenile science fiction works. I’ll call it “Podcast of Mars”.
