Is it just me or do the enthusiastic elbows up crowd look like they’re doing the chicken dance?!

Carney looks SO natural in that Chairman Mao tunic!
Love the color too, LPC and CCP red.
Carney was elbows up a lot, while leaning on the goal, waiting for something to happen.
That sample of urban Eloi have been messed up. Not only are voting for their normal free stuff from a bankrupt treasury but they think they’re voting against Trump…. and for dirty hockey or something… and more free stuff……and a government that will make their tough decisions for them…. and stuff….dental care…. and things….
The Pleb has an absolutely hilarious take on the “Elbows Up” meme, I don’t know who put in the soundtrack to the chicken dance but it has to be the funniest video of the campaign. I think there will be a few liberals unable to show their face tomorrow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw8ieuyiF_g
Just more proof that Canada is completely effed, and so richly deserves it’s fate.
But we shouldn’t forget that Carney’s election will be, to his supporters, the return to the halcyon days of PET.
I’m sure that they were in the doldrums for the past 41 years, longing for a return to high interest rates and matching unemployment levels. However, they now have, once again, rabid and rampant anti-Americanism like that which was orchestrated by PET to divert attention away from his failed domestic policies. Coming up will be the return to the ruthless gutting of the western Canadian economy, particularly the oil and gas industry, hopefully devastating Alberta once and for all this time.
Junior Potato disappointed them because he wasn’t more like Maggie’s husband. Carney will be the messiah that they had waited so long for.
I suggest having it on hand whenever a Liberidiot talks.
Window lickers from the short bus all growed up.
You couldn’t beat the stupid or the ignorance out of them.
The stupid is bone-deep.
Did you see the specimen with the sweater and the square sunglasses? What the h3ll is that haircut, bro?
I live in the riding in which Carney is running.
God help me, nearly 20 years ago, I was living in Paul Martin’s riding.
I did my civic duty on Friday. I was amazed at the line-up at the advance polling stations. On Saturday, a door-knocker for the Conservative candidate, Barbara Bal, came by my place to ask, “Can we count on your support?” I told him it had already been given. When I asked his feeling on how it was looking he said, “Well, you must have seen the turnout at the advance polls. Usually, turnouts like that indicate a desire for change.”
There also seems to be a lot of butt-hurt in this riding – even among Liberals – at Chandra Arya being unceremoniously turfed.
It’s all anecdotal and non-scientific. But this Conservative campaign supporter and the people I met at the advance polling station were all talking about the buzz that “he [Carney] needs to be stopped.”
“The world has to know we were not all like him.”
Chandra Arya should have run anyway as an independent.
Someone should also look who is funding “Tomas Szuchewycz” and his slate of “independent” candidates in Carlton
Idiots want to fight the United States? Where we sell 90% of our exports? Where almost all of us live within a hundred miles of the border? Where we can access healthcare not available here?
Negotiations, let’s make a deal, eliminating our tariffs on US products, any one of those things would be better than picking a fight.
The art of the deal boils down to fairness, that’s about it. The Auto Pact of the 1970’s was very advantageous to canada, mostly Ontario, and now that will come back to haunt us, better negotiators would have ensured more fairness to both sides. That’s the art of the deal, don’t create simmering grievances.
Considering the amount of cross border travel and business that takes place, plus the geographic distribution of Canada, the cultural similarity, you really would be better off just being part of the United States (better for your citizens too, I might add). However, if that isn’t desired, you do need a far less antagonistic and more reciprocal/mutually beneficial stance than the one you have taken.
The United States would be happy with either one, but the time is at hand when we cannot permit you to keep going the way you are. You have become an enemy and not an ally; you should not be surprised if you are treated accordingly.
The Auto Pact – from wikipedia – “From 1965 to 1982, Canada’s total automotive trade deficit with the U.S. was $12.1 billion; this combined a surplus of around $28 billion worth of assembled vehicles and a deficit of around $40.5 billion in auto parts” The Auto Pact was only a benefit compared to the butt humping we took prior to it.
Before the Auto Pact Canadian sold cars were almost all produced in Canada from American parts. The Auto Pact allowed efficiencies of scale in auto production. Big numbers of few models instead of small numbers of many models.
The stupidity of the tariffs is almost nothing is manufactured in Canada. Canada has a huge deficit in manufactured goods with the US. We mostly sell them raw materials that nobody in the world taxes other than the Orange Retard. Taxes raise the price of US goods rendering them uncompetitive for export.
“Taxes raise the price of US goods rendering them uncompetitive for export.”
What is the percentage of the U.S. market share in the global market? Maybe we’re more focused on the domestic market.
“We mostly sell them raw materials …” Maybe this is why we know we can engage in what we are doing with greater chance of you tapping out first (or as I like to think of it, seeing reason). And perhaps it will make you stop to wonder what happened to your manufacturing base, and why (I’ve given hints; you’ve done this to yourselves, but it does affect us).
“What happened to your manufacturing base?” Canada has never had significant manufacturing. That’s why when Orange Hitler’s panties get in a bunch it has nothing to do with Canada.
Eastern snobs will vote for Trump’s choice, tee hee.
Game misconduct for being Liberal.
Apparently the Liberals have a crisis unfolding – Carney is tired of being PM of Canada and has decided he is better qualified to replace the Pope…

In the voting line try chanting this:
“Liberal Boomer Bad! Orange Man Good!”
