  1. As a simple rule of thumb, we should never elect a WEF or Chinese-supported name. NEVER.

    1. Never underestimate the stupidity of the Canadian people.

Apparently politeness and retardation go hand in hand.

  2. And yet CTV and CBC are both still running with the headline that Carney was “targeted” to make the undeducated, brainwashed Canadian masses think that what they are doing is similar to what happend to Chong. On another note, how has everyones experiences been with their local MP’s? I have tried emailing Reddekop and Tochor multiple times with my concerns as both a voter and a business owner and not once have a recieved a reply back other than having my inbox flooded with fundraising requests. I am very, very dissapointed and have even tried emailing the party directly to find out how I can have my concerns heard as I am currently feeling without a voice in Saskatoon. I did not recieve a reply back from them either. It is also worth mentioning that I emailed the same concerns to the local PPC candidate, Jaxson Boot, a based young grain farmer from Saskatchewan, and he replied later the same day and seemed to hear and be understanding of my concerns. I have never voted PPC before, but I will be this year as I feel the CPC are just “mailing it in” in the West, and have been become complacent and lazy. I will not cast my ballot for a party that I feel my voice is being ignored by, and that seems to be the position the CPC has taken.

    1. I feel you pain as Mr. Clinton famously said, but voting PPC – and I like the PPC – like akin to wasting your vote. I wish it were different but it ain’t
The Liberal alterative is waaaay worse than lukewarm conservatism, so “Conservastive” it needs to be
Again, I wish it were different but it ain’t

      Grow up. Please

And remember my previously-stated “rule of thumb” that any sad sack/Debbie Downer here lamenting the Poor State of the Conservatves is likely a Liberal Party operative or a bot.

I see no reason to dispense with my rule here

      1. we all are allowed an opinion. Learn to respect that. I am not a lib, never have been and never will be. I will not be voting CPC. I will vote for the PPC. I have my reasons. If more folks who declare they want change would only have the balls to vote for it, we would be in a better place. Instead they always vote to have the dog chase its tail. You want real change than vote for it, otherwise let others have an opinion. Just my opinion.

        1. You are entitled to an opinion by why should I respect the opinion of people who will contribute to delivering me another Liberal government? Why?

This may be seen more in the breach than the observance but I do not like to suffer fools gladly and anyone who thinks that by voting for Mad Max (whom I like) that they are making some sort of Principled Protest Vote That Shall be Heard Throughout the Land are – plainy and obviously – fools.

“If more folks who declare they want change would only have the balls to vote for it” – riiiight…like that’s gonna put Max in office. We are dealing with – and I use this term with maximum sneering contempt – CANADIANS, here. Dream f**king on.

I wise man once said “opinions are like old KISS albums – everyone’s got one and most of them are not worth listening to.”

          1. The increase in the 2021 election of the People’s Party share from 1.6% to 4.9% may have cost the Conservatives at least ten ridings. Votes obtained by individual PPC candidates were larger than the margin of victory in 21 ridings, where the Conservative candidate was in second place (12 in Ontario, five in BC, two in Alberta, one in Quebec and one in Newfoundland). Of those seats, 14 went to the Liberals, six to the NDP, and one to the Bloc.

          2. Eric, quite right. Politics is the Art of the Possible. The vanity project called Max Bernier is simply the impossible. Voting for him will simply get the LPC another term in office.

          3. Again, my default rule here, is that all – ALL – of these supposed – supposed – “disgruntled conservatives”, “Pierre Poilievre betrayed our cause” sad-sacks, Debbie Downers, etc., are just Liberal Party operatives sowing dissent among their enemies to discourage Conservative voters and/or Liberal Party bots (really one in the same because Liberal Party members are generally mindless automatons and could easily be replaced by A.I.).

The alternative explanation is that they are fools and I have no time for either group

Politics is indeed the Art of the Possible – correct cgh

      2. Mad Max has one great idea, which is to get rid of supply management. After that, it’s all down hill for Max.

      3. Eric… If lowebowski is voting in a safe riding for either leading party, then voting for PPC will not be a wasted vote, and voting lowebowski’s conscience without being condemned for it will allow him to express his values democratically. I see nothing wrong with lowebowski’s reasoning.
You are correct in your strategic assessment, but don’t you dare conclude that just because someone doesn’t vote for YOUR preferred choice that that someone must be a “lieberal party bot.” I’ve been posting around here for more than 15 years, and I challenge you to find any proof in all that time among any of my posts that I am a “lieberal party bot.”
I WILL be voting PPC for exactly the same reason lowebowski is. My riding is solid CPC, and my vote for the PPC will help support the party to grow, and provide a REAL CONSERVATIVE option for Canadians to vote for.

          1. Then PROVE IT! And maybe when you realize that you can’t, maybe then you will STFU!!!

I’m sick and tired of you faux cons trying to smear me over a difference of opinion.

          2. FC, you’ve just gone from using lower-case to upper-case letters to sign your name. Does this mean you’re double-secret, extra, super-duper “peeved” with me, or does it mean you’ve got an erection?

And somewhere Mark Carney is smiling at you for your throwing your vote away.

          3. Throwing his vote away? What the hell else was he going to do with that vote? Elect the guy that gets elected anyway? One of you is using his head and it ain’t Eric.

  3. Liberals are traitors.
    Liberal voters are smooth-brained scumbags.
And the NDP voters are flocking to Liberal candidates because they’re brain-dead scumbag communists.
Both sets of voters would side with China over the USA.
    They are you’re enemy.

    1. my persistent question, and totally agree with your assessment, is WHY??? what in blazes HAPPENED in this bastion of freedom starting sometime around trudeau 1.0 showing up and mangling things with his communistic leanings?????

it was the flouride. thats it. the flouride.

      1. I really do think that Canadian’s have been subjected to psychological warfare at the hands of government. Every apparatus of Canada, whether it be the government itself, the military, or the mainstream media, have shown us they would be willing to use misinformation and disinformation to control the masses. Even more outrageous is these same groups have the audicity to claim that the biggest threat to Canadian Democracy are the same “misinformation and disinformation” they are continually guilty of spreading. I used to think that eventually people would open their eyes and see things how they are, but over the last couple of years I have given up hope of this. Canadian’s as a whole are sheep who would rather sacrifice them and their families freedom for some fake feeling of safety from the same government abusers. It is like Stockholm Syndrome times 100, and it disgusts me to see what our country has become. We really do deserve the government we get.

      2. It’s simple:

        1. Wealth and technological progress brought better standards of living.
        2. Better quality of life brought complacency, laziness.

Sprinkle over this already festering wound 2-3 decades of eco-Marxist grooming through all of media and academia, and voila! you are here.

        1. How did that “circle of life” meme go again?
          Something like…
1- Good times produce weak men.
2- Weak men produce bad times.
3- Bad times produce strong men.
4- Strong men produce good times.

I believe we’re somewhere between steps 3 and 4 in the current iteration.

    2. There is a reason that every Canadian Liberal of note has made a pilgrimage to China.

They can’t wait to change the white to yellow and the leaf to a big star.

Communists are just Canadian Liberals in a hurry.

A vote for the Liberal Party is a vote for the destruction of Canada.

      Nothing less than treason.

  4. If you thought that Harris delivered word salad speeches you are going to enjoy this fuster-cluck speech by Carney delivered yesterday in the riding of Sawnich and the Gulf Islands. (Sawnich, that must be his Can-Brit-Irish dialect coming through.)

How Canadians have allowed this supposed credential rich poser to assume the position of leader of Canada is beyond comprehension. Also beyond comprehension is the claim that only he can rectify our interprovincial trade barriers as a means to overcoming the Trump imposed tariffs when the Premier of Quebec has stated that there will be no west-east pipelines through Quebec. Funny how no one knew or cared about tariffs until Trump took the stage and now we’re all in a melt down, and only an ex-governor of the Banks of Canada and England can fix it. Yeah, funny that.

    1. Comments turned off.

      Another Liberal future feature.

You’ll shut up and love it.

    2. Carney is a life long bureaucrat
He was employed in government or by financial firms as a consultant because he had government connections.
These are folks that fear any politician that campaigns on smaller government.

    3. Yes, bilingual babbling, with a bow to the Indigeni. Plenty of hostility towards Trump and no awareness of the need for North Americans to join together to address the threat from Asia. That China builds a great number of major infrastructure projects in Canada, with imported Chinese labor is telling. How did that happen?

      1. Corruption perhaps?
Be prepared for more Chinese builds and product dumping — they’re going to have to find a way around my President’s tariffs somehow.

As it stands, you really do only have two choices in your upcoming elections. The Liberals are a known entity and nothing Carney says should fill you with optimism. Pollievre has at least made some decent pronouncements on combating some of your domestic issues and is an unknown with regards to why he would do, but the Conservatives would need a majority. There are no guarantees, but you might have a bit of a chance, maybe. So there you have it; choose wisely.

  5. As one smartass on X wrote : in Carney’s version of the Canadian national anthem “We stand on guard for thee” is changed to “We stand on guard for Xi”.

  6. Of course, the only party that isn’t beholden to the CCP is “unelectable”, so suck it up, peons.

    1. Dizzbot, what the heck is your A.I. algo talking about?? I think it has a programming glitch

Name one way – ONE – that Trump is actively “interfering” with PP’s campaign. Name one. ONE. I dare you. ONE

        1. …..riiiight…..

There is apparently no room in what passes for your “brain” for nuance, context, distinction, subtlety, satire, irony, an appreciation of trolling, and the ability to take things other than strictly ‘literally’ (I’m not a shrink but these are many of the earmarks of Borderline Personality Disorder…j’es sayin’)

Nothing insults my intelligence more than False Moral Equivalence

If you think, for even a nanosecond, that THAT clip amounts to “foreign interference” on par – even a fraction of – with what China is doing, then you need to make a long-term reservation for one of those nice padded rooms – so safe! so clean! – in CAMH’s infamous “winkie ward.”

          1. Well, TBH, Eric…
The polls started to swing toward the lieberals AFTER Trump’s rhetoric of “Governor Trudeau” and the “51st state.”

Yeah, yeah… I know. Correlation does not imply causation, but I don’t believe in coincidences either.

          2. I don’t think that China has threatened to occupy the country.
And you don’t know anything about BPD either.

          3. And who named you to be arbiter of crayon holding?
Is that the best retort you can offer?
Seems to me that you’re projecting, crayon holder!

    2. Uh, Dizzbot, its been over 2 hours since you shot your big mouth off. I’m still waiting for your answer. Your silence here is deafening. And telling.

  7. Did Carney cut a deal with China to give them a free pass on their drug manufacturing and money laundering in Canada in exchange for China’s illegal election assistance?
China doesn’t work for free, do they?
    Quid pro quo?
