  1. Just flew out to Toronto for the day. I didn`t see a single campaign sign anywhere. Isn`t GTA supposed to be a battleground? Have yet to see a Librano campaign sign in any part of Calgary or Airdrie i frequent.

    1. They don’t need campaign signs in Toronto . Probably the same in Montreal and the Atlantic provinces. They are all NPC blue dog democrats.

    2. No lawn signs, and no bumper stickers. Because nobody in Toronto trusts their neighbors enough to declare an opinion. You’d have to be crazy to put up a #CPC sign, because it would make you an instant target. Same goes for #Libs and #NDPee, it is a good way to get your windows broken and your car trashed. The cops let them do it.

That’s why Toronto sucks, and why I don’t live there. Intolerable a-holes.

Out here in Hooterville, but also in Burlington, Hamilton, etc. there are a few #Liberal signs. There are -many- #CPC signs. I predict an electoral slaughter on April 28th.

  2. Kinda hoping for a Carney minority.

Pierre being handed a smoking bag of dog sh!t and vilified for making tough decisions isn’t really ideal.

I suspect Carney will end up like Kamala, the more people see of him and the longer the election grinds on for, the more he’ll fade.

    1. That comparison seems quite appropriate, if one bothers to look beyond the legacy media’s propaganda. Carney is Canada’s Kamala. Good insight, Jeff.

    2. A Carney minority would be a disaster. He’s partner up with the NDP again and we’d be screwed. Carney needs the Kim Campbell treatment.

      1. Singe would likely be ousted after the election, and the NDP may not have enough seats to hold the balance of power.
Which means that the Lieberals would have to rely on the Block for their support.
Actually, the idea of a Lieberal minority intrigues me. The Block would not likely support the minority liebs, and the Dippers may not be a factor at all, and it will give some time to reveal more skeletons in Carnage’s closet. Carnage would also think twice before implementing his more controversial policies, and Canadians will actually get a chance to see the REAL Carnage when he finally is forced to reveal his assets, especially assets held in a (venetian) blind trust.
Plus, the fact that PP didn’t win would not reflect positively on him, and if the minority liebs are brought down in a non-confidence vote, the Cons may actually run a decent campaign, with or without PP.
Who knows! Not only would a minority lieb reveal much on Carnage, but it may give enough Canucks pause and re-evaluate how conservative the Cons really are, and maybe… JUST maybe, enough Canucks would vote for the PPC to give them a rep in the HoC.

        1. One more point… a minority lieb win may well alienate and disenfranchise enough voters in Alberta to push harder for a vote on independence.

    3. Like they handed Trump a steaming pile of crap as well. They threw “gold bars off the titanic” before the came into office.

    4. Absolutely! That is why the election cycle is so short. Initially many people responded to the Team Canada rhetoric and elbows up BS. (Sheep!) Get ’em to vote before they think about what they are doing!
If they are given time to think about the last 10 years, and who was advising JT for much of that…..they may experience a touch of reality, and vote for a change.
Mind you, looking at the average Canadian voters – even if they are given time to think, would they? Or would they just follow the feelings that the MSM tells them they should have?

    1. I have NEVER been contacted to participate in a political poll. NO ONE I know has ever been contacted to participate in a political poll.

  3. The Innovative poll cited in that article was from Monday, April 1st.

This link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_2025_Canadian_federal_election has the result of more recent disinformation and misinformation (polls) efforts on behalf of our moral superiors.

The polls in Canada are only cover for the “Appropriate Propoganda and Gas Lighting”! Witness Elections Canada article cited recently on SDA.

Post Nationalist = Post Democratic. N’est pas!?!

    1. I agree. There’s only one poll that matters: election day. The rest is just “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

      1. Though the counters of the final poll have far more power than those who submit their responses.

        Just ask Biden.

        And Nenshi.

        And Anne McLellan.

And the winner of every recount in modern times.

    2. Yup, they’ve all been “push polls”
Perhaps they’re realizing that people have had enough, and won’t be pushed !
They almost always end up close to the truth by election day, just to save their reputations,,, but not always.

The question the Media should be posing the Carney and the Liberal party should be,,, why haven’t you been negotiating with Trump? what the hell having they been doing for the last month???
In the Liberal brain trust, no deal is supposed to bouy Liberals, even though it hurts Canadians. Liberals are spending time figuring out what counter tariffs to issue, rather than trying to come to some agreement. The Liberal countervail tariffs are directly hurting Canadians more than Trumps tariffs.

      1. Carl, I agree with all of that. As someone who was once in the business, all polls are push polls. The first intention of ANY consultant is to provide the answers that the client wants. The parties will have a much better understanding of what the public really thinks about them. That, the parties keep to themselves.

Yes the Liberals and NDP are both in a bad way. Particularly the Dips. Right about now, most of the NDP want to literally roast Jughead on an open fire for his blundering for the last few years. Whatever bounce in support the Libs are getting is entirely from feasting off the dead carcass of the Dips. And to some extent off the Greens. Gangrene is now posting well under 1% nationally.

There’s no room for three socialist parties in Canada. At least two of them are going to be eliminated. Such was certainly the case in Britain in the 20th century with the disappearance of the old British Liberal Party.

Wyatt does some great analysis on the polls, both on YT and X.
      He’s a bit nerdy but he’s smart.
Yes, most of the polls we’ve been seeing are push polls, statistical garbage, designed to mislead, because there is no law against doing so!
And, online polling, by those like Angus Reid and Léger, for example, are not “random” polling, like phone polling used to be, and even that is in question nowadays, due to demographics.
The underlying data, that Abacus and Innovative have performed, continue to show that the Conservatives vote is strong and certain, while the Libs is far more ambivalent and flighty.
The trend is in the right direction, and now that BaD OrAnGeMan has not tariffed since weeks ago, the Carneyval Circus will now have to focus on their useless, dreadful policies.
Polievre is no saviour, far from it, has too many “me too” policies with the Libs, still has foolish TDS statements, but the Libs need to get tossed from office.
      Max, unfortunately, is a non-entity.

  4. Never believe the polls when you’re up
Never believe the polls when you’re down
    Never believe the polls. Period

    1. Depends on who is doing it. Rich Baris in the US is uncanny. He also doesn’t work for either party, definitely leans one way, but stays out of the influence game, which he is the first to admit, exists.

  5. Hard to take polls seriously when the rallies tell a different story.
From my days of political ‘activism’ and rallies the standard was for each one person at event you could count on 10 others that are in agreement but could not attend.

    1. Meh, remember the huge Trump rallies in 2020 when Biden couldn’t get more than 100 people out to see him. Yet who won?

  6. Also…as I mentioned in an earlier post MSM is ignoring the huge rallies in Kingston and Oshawa.
    Surprise?

  7. Ragmeet is watching the evisceration of his NDP as they see their blue collar support go CPC and the public sector go LPC/CCP. The lasting scent of Trudeau still saturates his nostrils as his memory of being so close to power he will never acquire fades. Even my mid Vancouver Island brain-dead NDP riding is showing CPC as leading.

    1. I understand the rank and file NDP practically wants to defenestrate Jagmeet Singh at this point, but it is way too late.

    2. John, the Jagmeet has the political instincts of a donut !

If he would have triggered an election a year ago, he’d be running in the 30-35% and be assured of the Leader of the Official Opposition, particularly running against the Turd.
Now the party will be decimated, and he may even lose his own seat.(although he gets his pension, at the sacrifice of his own party) What will his legacy be with the ndp…
I’m sure in his farewell speech(whether he wins his own or not), he’ll state his intentions were altruistic, and he made the sacrifice to keep those nasty, rightwing extremists, from hold the power in Ottawa.

      1. By sacrificing his party for the benefit of leftist hegemony, he could be seen as a hero. What he has managed to do however is unite the left under a fascist.

      2. Jughead Jingoistic Jagmeet has nine years from now before he starts the MP pension he destroyed his party with his cowardly collectivist chicanery. I hope they are happy with him beginning and ending their demise.

    3. He’s still buying facebook ads to attack the Cons, while practising Omerta on the Liberals.

  8. Elections Canada – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Liberal racist Party and therefore the Communist Party of China – counts the votes.

Progressive bigots will lie, cheat, and steal of course because they think they’re better than everyone else.

Let’s hope, because maybe there is faint hope, that the election is at least fair and that the idiots that live in this place have no one to blame but themselves.

  9. If Carney had more energy than a turtle he might be able to bolster his numbers, but that’s not going to happen. His body language is clearly that of someone who is very uncomfortable hob-nobbing with John Q. Public. He picks small venues deliberately without a raised stage. He’s terrified of seeing all those people staring up at him. Psychologically he’s totally unprepared for politics. He wants to be PM, to be sure, but he just wants to be interviewed by a small committee, get hired, and then head to his office, just like it was for his past jobs. But that’s not how politics works.

At this stage, it looks like Groundhog Day with another Liberal minority, but we’ll see how the debates go. That might move the needle enough.

    1. Debates? What debates? Carney has already run away from a French language debate. His ability to deal with media is zero. As you point out, he can’t deal with the public and never has in his entire life. His entire career has been spent in board rooms and office conferences. He’s never been elected to anything. So you are quite right in suggesting that he just wants to be hired for the job and skip the public entirely.

      1. as debate day arrives he will skid his rig and say he is needed in tariff meetings. the libs cant afford a Biden like entry in the debates

      2. He will participate in the official English and French language debates. The debate he declined was an additional private French language event sponsored by a Quebec magazine.

  10. Daughter and grandson attended a Poilievre rally yesterday at the Oshawa airport. She said attendance was around 6,500 and was very impressed by his performance. He spoke clearly and at length without prompts as did his wife. Again, something you won’t see on the CBC.

  11. I can hardly wait to vote with an es&g voting machine again and see which selections it makes for us this time…..SARC! off

  12. Modern polling in the US is no longer a barometer, thermometer, nor weather-vane of public.political opinion, but rather more like a psy-op campaign to fatigue and demoralize a given opposing political base, to generate apathy and ultimately self-defeat. Their methods are often poor sampling and results cherry-picked to drive narratives and push agendas..because, when you pay the fiddler, you name the tune.. It’s only natural that our ‘name your desired results, and we’ll fabricate em’ polling cancer would eventually metastasize in your political races as well..
(The CCP has written our left off as a dead loss by now, but there is still hope for Canada’s Libs, I suppose..)

  13. Though never fear, the polls paid for by the so called ‘Liberals’ will show difference.
And, the mass media cartel will fix it in a hurry to show them ahead.
    It’s the way it is.

  14. PP poo poo is the only politician running.. I don’t really see how he can lose to a globalist banker or Gagmeat the commie.. But this is Canada, full of migrants and numbskulls.. I have heard, my mom says more times this election than ever before.. This doesn’t bode well..

  15. Polls?
    Who are they talking at?
    Conservatives don’t respond.
Working Canadians have no time for pollsters..
    So who are they polling?

One reason the Liberals may take a shit kicking this election..April 15th.
Income tax filing deadline for wage workers.
What kind of out of touch elitists would call an election during tax season?
That time of year, when even the most detached tax payer gets salt rubbed into their wounds.
