      Actually, Liz J, I have fewer issues w/ that than I do with the current crop of experienced assholes. Look where experience has manged to get us.

      I recall back in university, the yearly tussle for Student Union president. A business major would get in, all the poli-sci majors would fret. A poli-sci major would get in, the business majors were sure we were going to hell in a handbasket. Best one we had was a philosophy major, if you can imagine that.

   looks like we got a small breach in the accepted narrative: the free speech union in Canada couldn’t come at a better time. now if PP actually goes ahead and de-funds the CBC, then a great blow will be struck for free speech.
