Coulda Had A Pipeline

@SecretaryBurgum

Congrats @GovDunleavy on the LOI with CPC Corporation Taiwan supporting the strategic Alaska LNG pipeline and purchases of Alaska LNG! Looking forward to similar progress with Japan, South Korea, Thailand and other key partners!

Selling U.S. energy to our friends and allies makes the world a safer, more secure place and creates great opportunities for all to prosper!

  1. Trump has said that he wants the Liberals to win the next election in Canada.

That’s why as Canadian MAGA supporters, we must vote for Mark Carney.

Pierre Poilievre has attacked Trump and has betrayed MAGA!

    1. Nice try. Word to the wise: repetitive wording as operative conditioning can work…but you need to be a bit more subtle with it. Carry on!
The real message was that Trump (and America) doesn’t care who you vote into office. And no, you really don’t have a good choice, just a least worst one.

      1. How about we have a vote and see how many want to join the USA as the 51st State and have NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND NO TAX ON ANY INCOME UP TO $150,000.00.?? How many Canadians would go for that? Count me in.

        1. I’m American. Whoever you vote into office won’t change the general tone of our policies, only the particulars.
If you decide to vote to become a part of my country, then that could be a plus for us (and for you as well, the money is not as important as the constitutional rights, by the way). If you decide to remain part of Canada and broker with us in a more fair way then that would be a plus for us. If you decide you want a trade war, then so be it; you will most likely eventually come around to common sense. If you decide to do something flighty and stupid ala some of the more ridiculous things coming out of your Liberal Party’s mouths (and a very large one from a Conservative) in the last few months, then we will address it.
          The choice will be yours.

    2. Exactly what does the upcoming Canadian election have to do with Alaska selling LNG to Asian allies? Seems the current Canadian Liberal coalition government is not interested in selling LNG or other oil products in the world market or am I wrong?

      1. Market Share is important.
Canadians like their government welfare too much. They won’t like the coming pain when the money runs out (are we into our great-grandchildren’s taxes now)?

        1. Unfortunately, Kanadians will have to experience much, much more extreme pain. However this “post-national state” will not survive long enough for Kanadians to clue in.

          1. – And besides, weren’t we assured by our former Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Mr. Potato, that there was no business case for selling LNG overseas? Confused…

    3. To be fair to P.P., he’s being boxed into a corner re. MAGA USA. CPC voters get some credit.
The TDS brain rot runs deep among conservatives in Ontario. They are itching for a trade war to inflict pain on MAGA USA. The consequences they haven’t thought thru or even care about. Think Ford. Some are throwing support behind Carney believing he’s the better choice to take on Trump. Brain rotted delusional dreamers. Meanwhile MAGA USA is building pipelines, an LNG terminal, $trillions in foreign investment are flowing in. MAGA USA will prevail and not allow a hostile foreign state to exist on its northern border. Vote Liberal, vote CPC, same to Trump.

      1. It has been obvious for years that Doug Ford is a fed Lib supporter. Pierre P has it tough in Ontario. Surprisingly the CPC allows its constituency boards to be filled with provincial PC executives: the phone call is coming from inside the house.

  2. If Trump is serious about absorbing Canada as a long term strategic goal (and that’s not an impossibility), then of course he’ll want a continuation of policies that will cripple Canada’s economy and destroy Canadian unity. That’s carn-hole and the Lieberals, plain and simple. They will continue to wreck the country, at which point it will collapse and he will be able to pick up the pieces at bargain basement prices. “Trump, you magnificent bastard, I read your book.” And he doubtless read Carney’s so he knows exactly what sort of mentally deficient unserious historically ignorant ideologically possessed lunatic he’s dealing with.
In Trump’s eyes, a CPC government might only prolong the process and make it more costly.

  3. Canada: “but I’m smart, I’m not dumb like everybody says. I’m smart and I want respect!”. Apologies to the writers of the Godfather

  4. Canada had virtually no GDP per capita growth for the 10 years the Trudeau Liberals were in power. That was deliberately done through federal policies stopping resource and pipeline projects plus flooding the country with immigration. Canada’s economic growth would have done far better if Parliament had been closed for 10 years and with only the provincial premiers governing.

The Liberal Party has failed at every national government responsibility : the economy, international diplomacy and trade, national security, military, national unity, banking integrity, managing budgets and deficits, and much more. All they were good at was spending taxpayer’s money on slush funds, consultants, foreign aid, activist groups, net zero and other vanity projects. Even the new social programs they created have not been very successful. Ten years of scandals, corruption, failure and mismanagement. It is crazy how anyone thinks they deserve a 4th term.

  5. Trudeau, all the BC politicians and bureaucrats at the provincial and federal levels are responsible for making Canada weaker. By strongly dissuading westward pipelines we are now at the mercy of the USA because the only pipelines that goes to a foreign market are the ones that go south to the USA. Thanks Liberals, Greens and NDP (both federal and provincial) for fµcking over Canada.

    1. Yeah, you’re right. But let’s be fair here and give honourable mention to all the federal Conservatives who raised their little ovine hooves and supported turdo on the Paris Climate Accord. And provincial tubs o’shit like Blubber douggie pissing away our billions on EV battery plants.

      1. You’re absolutely correct. It was Mulroney who signed NAFTA which began the off-shoring of Canadian industry. I’m sure his political backers in Power Corp made a killing. Then, as you said, the Cons clapped like trained seals when Chretien the cretin insisted that Canada have higher targets than the US for the Paris Climate Accord “to show the world that Canada is better”.

  6. Carney offering 1% tax cut to the lower incomers..? Oh yeah that’ll do it.
And a free visit to the dentist? Ouch.
Rick Mercer could be merciless , but…Lib
Jean Chretien was a really deserving PM cause he spent a “lifetime” in politics.
    Inheritance tax
    Real estate transfer tax/capital gain
    Industry carbon tax

    Oilers, but not Gretzky
Mike Myers, but he’s a yank now.
Feel for the Winnipeger who bought a 68 Charger in Texas, to get $46k tariff at border. Moar of that to come.
    Buy Canadian! Oranges? Bananas?
    Vote. Vote often. Carnage.

  7. Remember what voteing liberal governments in for the last 10 years has gotten us.
Dont think for one minute think carney will be any different.
    He’s a geenee WEF’r.
    The same ol same o.
