Lawfare is the only winner.
They get paid playing both sides against the middle, and the middle is taxpayer. More money will be spent on appeals, dragging out the judgements and and rulings, costing more money.
The lawyers and law firms should be working and only getting paid when they win a case. There should be flat fees paid to the winning firms.
Can you see the firms backing away if they have no way of winning and getting paid?
