BBC- Amazon forest felled to build road for climate summit
A new four-lane highway cutting through tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest is being built for the COP30 climate summit in the Brazilian city of Belém.
It aims to ease traffic to the city, which will host more than 50,000 people – including world leaders – at the conference in November.
Let’s see … the brave, brave, Canadian politicians were going to CLOSE DOWN the Alaskan highway to the US … because Orangemanbad or something.

Well, after all, the road is being built to accommodate World Leaders and the rest of the 50k world elites who are known to be committed to green energy. Maybe the highway will be restricted to EVs only.
Was there any mention of how many thousands of acres will be cleared for runways to handle all the private airplanes?
It will be used twice – once to get the delegates there and again to bring them back to the airports.
I have seen photos of what happens in the jungle after man has built roads or buildings and let me tell you, Mother Nature is a mean old bitch. Within 10 years, maybe 20 years, this will all be gone if it is not maintained.

What is it, a lousy 15km of road by 100m in cleared width or 150 hectares out of the Amazon rainforest of 670,000,000 hectares? The BBC is green hysteria 24/7/365.
The difference is the COP hacks build the road for themselves, but a life saving road for locals in Alaska they’ll quash. At least until Trump got back in power.
