Heh, so 2/3rd of Denmark thinks the West needs to invest more in Ukraine. And, by the same token, 70% of Denmark thinks their own contributions should remain the same or lessen.
Keep in mind that the sum total committed to Ukraine by Denmark was $130 Million.
I think you read Q1 incorrectly. Q1 asks if you think enough being done to prevent Russian victory, 2/3rds of Danes say no. Q2 says 70% of Danes are okay with their current contributions and 17% think Denmark should do more.
I read the results as indicating most Danes realize the likely outcome is Russian victory and most don’t want to do anything more about it (reason could vary: they don’t care or think it is pointless or are watching their money or do not want their sons killed or do not want their cities flattened).

That doesn’t sound much different from the way Canada is run. ‘I’m Canadian, so somebody owes me a comfortable living’. And the government knows best how to distribute the wealth.
Virtue signaling is cheap. How many of these Euro ponces willing to go themselves or send their sons and daughters? They seem just fine sending other people’s kids to the meatgrinder.
This all makes me wonder if the US has any nukes in Europe? Time to bring those home if so. Begin the drawdown of forces and let the EU figure it out.

I just listened to JD Vance declare that “Europeans are our Allies” … and I shouted at the TV … “No they aren’t!” They are de-industrializing and global war-mizing their former capitalist nations. They are politically, economically, philosophically, and culturally diametrically opposed to everything the US stands for. Our “European Allies” … like all good Socialist nations … only want American $$$$ … FREE $$$$.
The EU is more “Soviet” than Russia is … by far.

From figures I have seen USA has supplied 175 billion to Ukraine. Canada has supplied 19 billion. Usually think Canada is 1/10 of size of USA so we have sent approximately the same per capita or maybe a bit more.
The US is no longer supplying the Ukraine.

At least 175 billion U.S. (it is far more than that when you factor in the side bar money going into Ukraine….you know, crap like USAID and through virtually every other bloody agency in the federal government). As for Canada, that would be $19 billion Cdn…..and that is only if you believe the announcements from the Trudeau government.
Two things:
Ukraine is losing.
Zelensky refuses to stop fighting.
Cutting him off from his supply is the only way to stop this war. Of course, the Russians will not stop now, because they are steadily winning.
It would now appear that the war will end when Russia completely defeats the Ukraine. The stupidity of Zelensky and his allies will ensure this is how the war will end.
Well. If it’s any comfort, Trump brought forward the day that Zelensky is driven from Kiev and replaced by someone willing to restore Russian law and order in Russia’s borderlands.
Trump has cut off Zelensky in the Ukraine and allowed Israel to cut off Hamas in Gaza.
Why? Because he’s the first Righteous Gentile president of the United States, and understands that a people who curse Israel are cursed themselves, their destruction (usually by their own hand) is only a matter of time, and nothing of value is ever destroyed with them.
The “Ukrainians” never answered in any meaningful way for the delight they took in helping the Germans feed Russian Jews to the ovens. Hamas, evil though they are themselves, have done no worse to Jews than was done by the miserable, drunken, fetal-alcohol syndrome halfwit peasantry of Little Russia. Their emancipation by Tsar Alexander II was a blunder little less catastrophic than the emancipation of the American Negroes by his fellow fathead in authority, Abraham Lincoln.
Trump sees what Israel sees—that the whole of Little Russia is not worth a Jew’s fingernail, or an American’s, and that nothing of value will be lost when, not if, “Ukraine” is wiped off the map of Europe, and the Little Russians who hate Jews more than they love their children are slaughtered or deported to Siberia to end their days as slaves, which is all they were ever going to be good for.
He is designing his foreign policy accordingly, as did Israel, who wisely stayed out of the fight. Under Zelensky, the last of the Bolsheviks, Amalek is digging his own grave as fast as he can. Why should Israel lift a finger to stop the Russians from destroying Amalek for her?
Thank you for your post. I have posted previously (as I love history and geography) that Ukraine is “suffering” (they started the war by antagonizing the Russian Bear – not a good idea) because of the evil which they did in World War II. And again, it was not the entire population, but Ukraine supplied many of the concentration camp guards (Ivan the Terrible comes to mind), they did the Babi Yar massacre over September 30/31, 1940 (I may have the year wrong). Now of course, they like to say that it was not Ukrainian Nazis who did the massacre by the German Nazis.
Germany, despite its reparations, are also suffering because of the evil which was done against the Jews, the Polish people and others. In the Old Testament, it was noted that it takes 7 generations (140 years) for evil to be wiped out of a family line (I am looking at you Kennedy Family and the evil which Joe Kennedy did in the 1920’s). I know I sound like a crazy person, but these have been my observations.

Answer to Q1 is not whether “something should be done”. Answer to Q1 is whether “not enough is being done”. Q1 has nothing to do with whether more or less should be done. You are missing the last part of the question “… to prevent a Russian victory.”
That perfectly sums it up. It is very easy to be virtuous when it costs you nothing. It’s like principles…..a principle becomes a principle only if it COSTS YOU SOMETHING.
There is one other question they should have asked….they should have added in the amount the U.S. has been spending in Ukraine and then divided that number among the populations of the various countries and calculated what the per capita cost of absorbing that cost themselves would be and ask the question about whether they are prepared to cough up.
When Europe eventually falls it will be the result of people bandying their sentiment about, with no interest in taking any stake in the actual outcome.
