  1. Much like real sheep in a field, who will move according to how 1 or 2 sheep dogs run & bark around them, the vast majority of Canadians are Sheeple, who do pretty much the same thing. In case of Canada’s Sheeple, the sheep dogs are not good, but rather evil psyop manipulators who cast their spells on weak minds who do not think for themselves and simply follow the crowd.

Pronouns in bios and flags in social media profiles are but two examples of this robotic like behaviour.

    1. Speaking of sheeple. What’s up with PP? I though he was probably smarter than this. Now he’s talking retaliation against the U.S. — and of course getting cheered for it. He’s making sure the sheeple stay — or come over to — his side?

He’s talking tariffs against the U.S.: if they do it to us, we’ll do it to them. Newsflash: Trump is all for reciprocal tariffs. Though I don’t think how that pans out is quite the way PP thinks it’s going to.

      1. His plan is to counter with tariffs for products available here that we don’t need to import.
        I bet it’s a short list.
One thing would be lumber. We could use it in our own market to increase housing construction.

  2. Mass grave hysteria
    Mass tariff hysteria

    Nothing excavated
    Nothing negotiated

Yes, Canada is a fully dysfunctional State. Operated by fully dysfunctional people.

    1. Kenji

Lay off the hyperbole buddy. Enough is enough.

      We know our shortcomings.

A lot of us admire the US but are not interested in becoming an American. Many have married Americans and have immediate relatives who are Americans. A lot of Americans are married to Canadians. Are they dysfunctional as well?

      1. My daughter is married to a Canadian, and my grandboys are dual citizens. Yes, I have an interest in Canada collectively coming to their senses … as surely as I wish Californians come to their collective senses.

The good news for you is that your polls suggest you’ll fix your country much sooner than CA ever recovers from its 3rd world malaise.

PS … what you call hyperbole … I call a stinging rebuke to your puke leadership

        1. kenji, bro. I hear you but relax .
Let’s recap puke leadership, and start with Newsome, Pelosi, Arnie, Joe, Hillary, etc.
If we recover, it will only be when we all see how we have been played by the same damn players.
That said, appreciate that you think we will come to our senses before california does. Don’t count on it.

      2. Kenji isn’t wrong. Many of us are saying the same thing.
If you are honest with yourself, we all have far more in common with our southern neighbours, than any Morontarian or Queerbekker.

    2. Says the guy from California. A place where the politicians say they want to spread San Franshito values across the US and beyond.

We’ll clean up Canada; suggest Californians do the same for their state.

    3. Kenji, Kenji I thought better of you.
Incidentally, can you tell me when they made the rule change that the occupant of the White House had to be senile?

    1. Glavin has the absolute worst case of TDS I have ever seen. I tried quoting word for word three sentences from an article in the Post he wrote and the moderators rejected what was written in the article.
Absolute derangement. Not professional. No class.
      Unlistenable.
      Glavin is an idiot.

    1. There was a rumour many years ago when the Maple Leaf Flag was adopted that the bars on either side of the prototype were a deep dark blue, and Lester Pearson, of ‘Peace-keeper’ fame declared that there would be no ‘Tory” blue on Canada’s flag as long as he was PM. Unfortunately no one in the Tory party since then has taken the initiative to re-install the blue bars. It should be noted that even when America broke from the United Kingdom the Founding Fathers kept the three colours, Red, White, and Blue, in the Star Spangled Banner. Perhaps with the ongoing conflict with America the Liberals will update the flag with a hammer and sickle in one bar and five stars in the other, a true indication of what this nation has become.

  3. “This has never been a search for missing or murdered children; rather it’s always been a never-ending treasure hunt supported by a mainstream media and compliant federal government unwilling to carefully probe any of the alleged findings.”

-Hymie Rubenstein Editor of REAL Indigenous Report and a retired professor of anthropology, University of Manitoba.

      1. And guilty white Liberals accommodate all the time with other people’s money to assuage their own guilt.

    1. A lot of those missing children (and women) go out of your ports, and are never heard from again. It’s been going on for a long time.

  4. Truth of the matter. Canada is broke, defenceless, and entombed with Liberal laws and procedures that make recovery impossible. The Commonwealth parliamentary system, is a path to totalitarianism and dictators. It was only feasible with morals, honor, and respect, which have long gone. Alberta will vote to leave in the next five years, as being impoverished while upholding a long gone memory finally clashes with reality. Once Alberta begins the process, the Canadian dollar will dive to 40 cent levels, and panick will set in from coast to coast. China, the EU, Russia, and everyone else will rush in to pick up the yard sale items, and Canada will deteriorate into eight or nine little struggling countries until later absorbed as territories or states.

Lines on a map are redrawn all the time, so don’t expect this fledgling 158 year old country to be here for your grandkids. Trump insiders have already been discussing Alberta, and rumours persist that Danielle has been in on some of these discussions. The negotiation part that is drawing interest is the 1 for 1 dollar exchange for all residents, and properties. Simply by joining, everyone becomes much, much weathier………..or you can stay with Justin as he creates Cuba North.

I agree with your opening 3 sentences. We are not alone in terms of crushing debt. The US might be worse than we are. Russia? China? They are deeply in debt. That’s why they’re looking for a piggy bank. All of them.

The Westminister system of parliament is deeply flawed. The existence of a parliamentary whip leads to corruption. Elected members of parliament are beholden to the party not the people.

Canada has devolved into an unworkable welfare state. Provinces with no hope of a modern economy are propped up with tax money expropriated from other areas of the country and when elections take place vote against their very self interest (money from others) in order to maintain the ruse. Nothing can save a system like that. It eventually collapses under it’s own weight. There is no other ending.

So yes, lines get redrawn all the time and when they do nobody will want places that bring nothing to the plate.
And if some province of Canada becomes part of the US what makes anybody think they will have full participation in the US federal system? The vote? Maybe? But it might be Guam or Puerto Rico.

The world has changed and it’;s not going back.

    2. Ontario and the east join the EU. That will be your only choice if you keep this mantra up. Why would the USA want you?

    @JimMcMurtry01

“I was the teacher who was walked out of classroom and career May 31, 2021 for saying residential school students died from disease and not murder.

The Kamloops band spent most of the $12.1 million for excavation on the “construction and operation of a Healing Centre, new museum, and funding for an Elder’s Lodge.”
They have no intention of digging.
    That’s why I had to. “

  6. A few months ago he was wrapping himself in the Ukraine flag today it’s the Canadian flag. Like his hero Obama Dear Leader Blacky McBlackface watches which way the parade is going then joins in. He needs to STFD and STFU

  7. Prime Minister Carney explained to his CBC today that he would run deficits to help the economy.

    1. And you expected something different from an ex-governor of the Bank of Canada. Try asking him at the next leadership meeting how the Bank of Canada holds approximately 2 billion dollars of Canadian’s money in the vaults of the Bank, and who benefits from it.

The hole they’re digging isn’t deep enough by half to bury the lot of them it it, keep digging boys, keep digging!

  8. Speaking solely for myself, as an Albertan I recognize our province has been blessed with oil & gas and agricultural resources. Given this and again speaking for myself, I did not mind terribly contributing to the welfare of the other Canadian provinces providing that we were not prevented from accessing these resources to create wealth.

Pierre Trudeau’s National Energy Program of the 80s and Justin Trudeau’s net zero program of the last nine years, have convinced me that Quebec and Ontario will block distribution of these resources to international markets via both coasts and ultimately kill energy and agriculture as industries, all by legislation and regulation. I see this as a dagger to the throat of myself and my children.

My first preference would be for an independent Alberta and like minded western regions whether this includes some or all of our provincial and territorial neighbors.

American statehood would be my second choice, but there are 36 trillion reasons why I’m less interested and I can still remember the trajectory the USA was on over the last four years of Biden and during eight previous years of Obama.

The Canada of my childhood is dead, but if I knew then what I know now, I would have realized this was inevitable. I love my country, but I cannot bring myself to love those who govern it for themselves and for the benefit and goals of those outside of Canada.
