1. His message is clearly for his Canadian supporters, but it will have no positive effect with the American government.

   There has been no mention about:
   1. The deep influence of Communist China in Canadian politics.
   2. What precisely he will do to strengthen the border.
   3. Eliminating the highly controlled dairy industry.
   4. The tariffs on softwood lumber.
   5. No mention of the interprovincial trade barriers.
   6. No mention of western provinces subsidizing Quebec & The Maritimes.

   However, he did talk about:
   1. Expanding pipelines.
   2. Reducing energy taxes.
   3. Increasing energy exports.

   Make no mistake, I truly do hope that this speech helps him win the next election, but fear it’s just too late.

      SO, you want him to say lots and lots of stuff and supply a cornucopia of controversial issues for the regime (and it’s a huge regime spreading far wider than mere electoral offices) to try and take him down. Nutz.

      1. The problem is, his promises sound just like the Liberal promises. True, he’s been calling for this for years, and the Libs are pandering, as usual.
         Still, UNIPARTY promises, that’s the concern.
         As for the Realpolitik side of things, sure, it’s going on. PePe can’t fly to DC and meet with Trump, the media is the enemy and would hang their hat on that, no matter how necessary it would be for Pepe to meet with 47 and find common ground. That meeting and resolution,can happen after the election and must.
         Trump is being hardassed alright, at Trudy and the LIEberals, deservedly so. The CHINAlibs are quite willing to torture this country for their own craven benefit, but it’s a losing strategy, they’re just delusional, as are their minions, but nothing new there.
         I don’t think there’s any doubt that Trump and Pepe have had calls already, video chat, whatever, to discuss these matters. Neither would admit it, for obvious reasons.
         The real issue is how far the Libs will go to damage this country for their Chinese masters?

   Then the speech takes twice as long as it should because of the Canadians that are more hyphenated than ALL the rest.

   The tone of the speech was that we are righteous and have never taken advantage of our neighbor.

   And none have called the legalized abuse of these protestors what it is.

      1. There is a thing here being missed, and it is fundamental. There is a slight chance, that with radical (unlikely) action, Canada could begin to course correct. 4-5 more years of the same, and the bond market will be running Canada, or the place where it used to be. Almost all our debt is external, there will be no “next” anything, if this one doesn’t go right, and probably not even then.

         Max could have all 345 seats next time, for all it will matter, which is not at all.

11. Dairy? Will not happen because it is Quebec. What we need is a leader who will stand up to Quebec, never mind the US. Great comments by PP but how is he going to do it? Take down Canadian inter-provincial trade barriers? Will not happen because of provincial self interests. Smoke n mirrors. PP will win but Canadian political realities will bite him in his gonads and forestall any effort by him or his party to clean up the mess that is Canada.
