    1. I have a friend who posted a question on Facebook to her progressive gal friends: If there were two paths in the woods and one had a bear (let’s say a grizzly) and one had a man you didn’t know, which path would you take.
Most of her friends said they would take the path with the bear on it. I believe that this woman may have said “bear’ before she went to Turks and Caicos.

Of course Kate would have said bear but would have had her Browning X-bolt with her.

  1. Just what level of stupid is necessary to go into the water where a shark is cruising, try to get a picture, and expect to wade out in one piece? Plus not a young women either.

Hubby was there too, was able to drive off the shark and get the dumb *itch out of there with major injuries. Also not too bright for not preventing this in the first place.

No sympathy here. Sounds horrible of me (no apologies) but stupid is as stupid does.

    1. They say Yellowstone is the olympics of the Darwin awards but apparently Turks and Caicos is for semifinalists.

    2. I keep saying it ,.. Most Canadians are stupid ,,,,. The example is the idiot with the shark and the idiot they elected three times in past 10 years …He destroyed the Canadian economy and impoverished a large segment of the society, He has also make Canada laughing stock.
No wonder Trump is offering to join with us and save out dumb asses.
We do not have the sort of Canadians who have the wherewithal to fix it themselves.
      And Trump knows that.
I think we should take Trump up on his offer,

  2. Interesting “selfie” facts:

Countries with the most reported “selfie” related deaths: #1 India #2 Russia #3 US #4 Pakistan
Most popular scenarios leading to “death by selfie”: Train tracks, electrical wires, cliffs (remarkably, animals are rather low on the list)

  3. “How many amputations is Walt Disney responsible for?”

“A decade after wolves tore off his right arm at the Toronto Zoo, 17-year-old Scott Connor was awarded a settlement of up to $11 million. “It won’t replace his arm, YOUTH MAULED BY WOLVES IN …”

    1. I don’t wish harm on anyone, and she’s now clearly suffering — not to mention her life from now on will be vastly different and harder. But it’s difficult, I’m finding, to have sympathy for this utterly ignorant woman who, at age 55, ought to have known better. And “ought to have known better” is a gross understatement.

  4. ‘ Global Affairs Canada is aware of a “Canadian citizen who experienced an accident in Turks and Caicos,” says Charlotte MacLeod, a media relations officer for the department in Ottawa. ‘

No, she did it on purpose you fckn liar.
Are you worried about offending a drooling imbecile?
The shark should have bit her head off because she sure wasn’t using it.

  5. God’s oldest killing machine and she wanted to pet it?
Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

    1. You know, if she did the same thing 20 years ago, she’d be dead. Because, back then you held the camera up to your face.

  6. OK it was stupid but stupidity of this kind should NOT rule out compassion! Some shameful posts here from shameless SDA-ers.
    Embarrasing and confirmational for con-haters.

    1. Not at all.
      1. You forget how rabid the con-haters actually are. If the lady in question were a conservative, the libtards would be talking about how they hope she dies.
      2. Poking fun at a news report of someone who gets severely injured doing something stupid is not the same as poking fun at them on the scene, I don’t think anyone here would do that, unless the lady were Russian, then Jessica would.

  7. We’ve seen some really stupid stuff while diving. Some sharks are more shy than others but if you trap them, all bets off. Of course, people group around them to take photos. We always swim off rapidly.
