  1. Hope so. Seems the recent Ekos and Léger polls had holes so big in them, you could drive a WEF Clown Car through them.
    This poll makes sense, for many reasons. I mean, the average Unme is really, really stupid, but few people forget the malfeasance and damage the LIEberals have done the last 9 years, that quickly. Especially when Carney has been a LIEberal adviser for the last 6 years, and ConCarneys advisers are Butts, Telford and Co.

  2. I think that Mark Carney is the Devil Incarnate, so these poll results give me hope. But devils tend to not follow rules & laws so let’s see what happens. Plus, how long will this a$$hole be allowed to have control over Canadians?!?

        I haven’t watched any legacy media since she and Nirmala Naidoo looked like they might get into an argument over which of the two could give the better BJ to the Turd. This was after a COVID media love-in with the Turd from the cottage.

    1. No. It depends on the “vote efficiency” of the various ridings.

      In general, the Libs seem to get majority territory a few percentage points less than the Conservatives, so there should be a 3% to 4% spread in favour of the Conservatives for them to get a majority government.

      As a rule of thumb, somewhere in the high 30s to low 40s is sufficient.

      2. Umm, no. The federal Liberals are in such a bad state that the likely outcome is that they lose official opposition to the Bloc Quebecois. The Liberals previously have won a plurality of votes in all the ridings which could go one way or another. That’s the 905 region around Toronto. Incumbent Liberals have been announcing they will not be running again by the dozens. Except for a couple of ridings in Toronto, the Liberals are looking at a complete wipeout in Ontario.

        Things are so bad for the Liberals that they are likely to get wiped out in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and even PEI. At this rate, the Liberals may not even have official party status after the next election.

        So what’s coming is a disaster for the LPC. Why else do you imagine that so many incumbents are fleeing the sinking ship?

  5. As I was remarking to someone today, the amount of sheer damage done to this country in the last nine years is making itself evident. Emotional, economic, educational, structural, political, take your pick.

    The #Liberals have sucked so much money out of the country that the former middle class is now the lower class, the upper class is scraping hard to maintain middle class, and the former lower class is living in tents in the park, addicted to fentanyl.

    Nobody wants to work anymore, because everyone is very, very aware that there is nothing to work FOR. If you have income, they take it. If you have assets, they take them. Who’s making money in Canada? Car thieves, money launderers and guys hooked up with the #Liberals.

    To the point where the United States has been forced to treat Canada the same as it treats Mexico. As a failing state run by criminals.

    The #LPC will be reduced to 2 seats in Parliament in the next election. I say two instead of zero, because you can’t fix stupid and Toronto is filled with stupid, gullible, useful idiots.

    Tell you something else, there are going to be MASS bankruptcies in Canadian media. As soon as the government money tap gets turned off, it will be Chapter 11 for everybody.

      The first one to collapse will almost certainly be Corus Entertainment and Global television. The stock value has been holding at under 10 cents per share for more than two months. It cannot pay off any of its long term debt. CBC cannot collapse until and unless the federal government cuts its subsidy to CBC.

    The next liberal leader only has to be better than Trudeau.
    But the problem is once they exceed that they start to actually listen to him and realize he has the charisma of wet paper bag and they wanted another pair of fancy socks.
    The other part is that the liberals are trying to appeal to conservative voters after decades of calling them a bunch of racist bigots.

  8. What I find interesting with Carney is his advisory staff. It’s no secret that he is an environmental zealot. In just about every public appearance he makes that a staple of what he’s saying. There’s always a reference to climate policy.

    If he had a decent advisory staff, someone would tell him to stop doing it. Instead, his public appearances should be laser focused on economy issues, housing issues, and immigration issues. Now, I’m sure he (and the Liberal party) see all three of these issues overlapping in the Venn Diagram with Climate Change. But, if they were smart, they’d leave it out of the discussion altogether whether they believed it or not.

    In short, Carney is either really dumb, of he’s surrounded by “yes men”, and his campaign chops leave something to be desired.

      He’s relying on those yes men to run everything and from the looks of it they still think it’s 2015 and they can run on climate change.

        The Lieberals ran the Turd on his name in expectation of the PET Cult coming through. It had but has waned ever since. Enough have realised the Turd isn’t intelligent enough to be the class clown.
        If PP is smart, the CPC will point out it was Jim Flaherty as Minister of Finance that took care of the economy and the banks . It was not Crooked Carney when he was BoC Governor.

  9. I was concerned that the #Libranos would gain a bump in the polls and move to a quick election to capitalise on that. The flip side of this is if the #Libranos aren’t encouraged they may put an election off until 2026 and nobody wants that.

    No doubt there will be many within the #Libranos party (I suspect Mark the Carney is surrounded by “yes men” as mentioned above by Orson @ 8.14 Pm) who say their rise in support from 19% a couple of months ago to 27% is justified by fresh leadership, they have the momentum, and they should call an election right after the #Librano leadership vote, as Mark the Carney said a few days past.

    There wouldn’t be so many #Libranos declining to run again in the next election if their boldness was true.
    I somehow doubt having an election while Canada is having their exports subject to multiple tariffs from the USA is a good idea, but the #Libranos can’t run on their record, and unfortunately the Conservatives are going to run against the American’s tariff threats as well.

    In all ways, I expect Canada to be a dumpster fire for the next year with very few opportunities for optimism outside of the actual #Libranos being defeated.

    Write your federal representative, your provincial representative, your municipal representative, your rural representative.

    Be nice and firm, regardless of their political party affiliation.

  13. Abacus seems to be the most accurate of the polls right now.
    Ekos and Nanos are Liberal operatives, discount them as propaganda.
    There’s been a ConCarney bump, of course, but it’s topped now.
    Still a CPC majority, NDP in the dumps, Maritimes still a welfare state of course.

    1. Agreed with all of that. Abacus is not bad, but my preference is for 338Canada.com. It shows the same thing. The Libs are done regardless of Carney, Garden Gnome Barbie or anyone else. What 338Canada shows is that the LPC are going to lose all of the Maritimes. And that’s never happened in living memory. Justatwit’s legacy truly is deeply, completely toxic.

      1. 338 takes a composite of many polls to produce their projections. So, it would also include the garbage from Ekos/Frank Graves and NanuNanos.
        Still, Fournier seems to produce relevant projections.
        This is why you see more differences in places like the Maritimes. I still see that place as welfareville in any event.
        It’s a typical Liberal place where one might expect a bounce back of sorts. Like Cheranna and Wangcouver. Braindead lost and entitled urbanites.
        As witnessed this week, the braindead NPCs were activated to waive flags because the TV screen told them too.
        Convoy flags bad, Liberal flags good. BARF!

  16. Wyatt @national telegraph seems to have a good feel for the pollsters. Pretty good political acumen for a young guy, though his Schtick might be corny, the message is on target.

    1. Yes, the Liberal leadership race is ongoing and Fart Carney won. His kingship will be announced when Klaus anal Schwab gives it the official Zieg Heil of approval , sometime in March.
