  4. This is just poor campaigning. This is a Kamala Harris level of campaigning.

    Just think for a second…if you were to go up to any 100 people on the street and ask them “What does the maple leaf mean to you?” Do you truly believe that any of those 100 would say “freedom”? Would anyone of the 100 answer “possibility”? And, then, the last one. No one would say “helping hand”. And, in fact a vast majority of the residents in Canada would likely take that last one as a detriment in that many are scraping to get by, while Nero Fiddles.

    Carney isn’t up to the challenge of winning a campaign. I get the feeling he’s had quite a bit just handed to him, and doesn’t know how to relate to those great unwashed.

    Bonus: I bet $20 the dude is a germaphobe and he has a tube of antibacterial lotion in his pocket where ever he goes.

  10. Wow! That 4-nations hockey game between USA and Canada in Montreal was AMAZING! And not just the 3-1 win by the USA … but the booing of the US anthem spurred 3 fights right after the puck dropped. It was awesome! I just watched the sequel to “Miracle on Ice” … miracle in response to the SHAMEFUL booing of America. All because Orangemandbad.

    A real beatdown of the disrespectful Canadians in every way possible.

      Like the British soldier said when asked if any Americans would be in the Falklands! He didn’t care as long as they were in front of him! Americans are notorious for friendly fire deaths! This fact was repeated in both World Wars! It would seem your boys get a little excited under pressure just like you with one win!
      Like I said this isn’t over but I would liked to have played against you when we were in our youth——words in sports like words in wars are meaningless!

  12. Oh, I can just see GYM hacking away at the Catholic church’s “bible pounders” with this.
    May I point out that Sleepy Joe and Nancy Pelosi are also supposed “Catholics?”

    And I will say, as I always have been saying that you can be a “Catholic,” but in Name only, and not be sincere in practicing the faith.

    I have my doubts that our current pope is not following the tenets of the faith entirely. There are many people who claim to be Catholic by heritage, who don’t even go to church on Sundays, let alone pray the rosary. Our current pope, for example, has done more to create a schism within the church than any other pope that I can remember.

    And just because you do follow the rituals, that still doesn’t mean that you’re living the faith.

    Politicians like Carney, Trudeau (yes, he too is Catholic. He got married in a Catholic church in my old neighborhood where I grew up and attended mass), Biden, Pelosi, and all of those phony Catholics are not faithfully in communion with the church. (Abortion for example).

    When I see stories like this, I often feel that I have to clarify the distinction between someone who claims to be Catholic, compared to someone who actually practices, and lives their lives BEING a Catholic.

      When I mention to fellow church goers that I can never vote for a party that promotes abortion, all I get in reply is slow blinking. You can see the revolving blue circle of death in their eyes……but never a verbal reply.

  13. Abortion hasn’t been an issue in Canada since the 80’s when the courts ended the existing law. It’s never been brought back by any parliament because Canadians don’t want obstacles.
