Juvenile Nation

Why are so many Canadians acting like twelve year olds in a high school art class? Are most Canadians just this incapable of critical thought?

…the bagels are made by taking white and red dough, and intertwining them in a colourful, wood-oven-baked treat that she says is a fitting metaphor for Montreal, Quebec and Canada.

Canadian pilot Michael Jones made news headlines after he flew… for two hours near the U.S. border, taking a meticulous path to draw a Maple Leaf in the southwestern Ontario sky.

Kicking Horse Coffee is offering cafes a “Proudly serving Canadianos” window display as a symbol of their participation in the patriotic movement.

I’ll bet that’s got Trump quaking in his boots.

    1. Exactly. We are in a cult and we can’t break out. We are infantilized morons. We are the frogs in the water that’s building from hot to boiling. We never rebelled in the past and we won’t rebel now.
And we’re the first to be fed to the wolves by the elites as civilization collapses.
I just want to ask the powerful in Canada why they had to do this to us. We never threatened them. We were passive and obedient. We swallowed the GST, the ever-increasing tax burdens after that, the depreciation in our income and well-being … we never caused trouble. Why did you have to destroy us anyway? Couldn’t you just let us live our mediocre lives paying the taxes and keeping you wealthy as you continuously stole from us … couldn’t you just leave us in peace as we kept you wealthy and powerful? Why did you have to destroy us and our families and our churches and our occasional meager holidays? We were never a threat to you. Couldn’t you just let us live?

  1. For years the Chinese dumped Steel and Aluminum into Canada which was then “processed” by avaricious companies in Canada then shipped to the USA as being Canadian. To the detriment of domestic US producers. And the list goes on and on. Failure to fund Nato, failure to maintain our own Military, failure to control money laundering, the border, etc, etc ,etc. What Trump is doing is nothing more than the Librano chickens coming home to roost. And we suffer.

  2. I have a bias that treats citizenship on the same level as marriage.
I will do my best to maintain the union, but if it ends up a situation where one becomes a battered spouse, and when they have reached their limit attempt to leave, there needs to be better justification for maintaining the union besides “ah come on hon, stay for old times sake”

    1. Nailed it! Turdo is merely a symptom of the great problem. So is Pee-Pee … and Blubber Douggie, and, and, and….

  3. Its time to address where the nations core values are , know thyself
    TRUMP DIDNT
    – deplete our milatary to the point of being unable to prodject strength of a sovereign nation
    – abondon meritocracy based immigration
    – lower gdp based productivity per capita
    – drive private investment down while expand government bureaucracy
    – lower private wealth through taxation and lower dollar value
    – infringe on provincial and private individuals rights and freedoms ie freeze individuals bank accounts
Just a few top of mind, we all can add many more.
America is far from perfect but who are we really without them ? Would feel differently 2015 but now and seeing the pathetic display such as this NP article solidifies my view that we have become a pathetic nation. No blaming anymore, look in the mirror and will see who has created our self inflicted dilemma. Trump is telling us grow a pair or step aside!

  4. Lots of useful idiots that the Librano Crime Syndicate, can count on. I thought we were a post national state. The Gropenfurher said it upon his victory. Canadians are fucking stupid.
Never underestimate the power of stupidity in large groups

    1. ‘Buddy”, in response to your message that was caught in the Spam filter, I released the comment.

I do not have any interest in spending any time looking at the “captured” comments, but will occasionally do so. Most with the F-word, I will not release.

Best not to use it here on SDA.

  5. This is all part of Trump’s 52-dimensional chess. Threaten Canada. Dim-witted Canadians will rally with childish patriotism and will renew their support for Trudeau and the Liberals. The Liberals will be elected with a new majority in the next election because the Liberals “stood up to” the Bad Orange Man. Canada remains a province of China – which is what Trump wants. Canada, being a Chinese province in the western hemisphere, provides a very convenient back door for Western intelligence agencies into China. Because so much Chinese industrial espionage, and money laundering, and drug trafficking, and human trafficking happens in Canada, it’s very easy for Western intelligence agencies to keep an eye on the inner workings of the Chinese government through Canada. Perhaps Canada becomes a conduit to feed false information into China. Perhaps Canada becomes a mechanism to seize or at least to follow all the dirty money flowing out of China. Canada takes a huge hit to its economy, to its standard of living, and to its reputation, but it just might be providing a tremendous service to the West. I sometimes wonder if Trudeau pere, as Jordan Peterson might say, was doing the same thing with the Soviet Union – was Trudeau’s coziness with communism a way to make Canada a convenient back door into the USSR?

I need to get more yarn to connect all these PostIt Notes I have all over my bedroom wall. Might as well pick up more tinfoil, too, while I’m out.

    1. That purpose was already served and is no longer beneficial.
At this point, as far as America is concerned, it will not matter if your government is conservative or liberal.
There will be consequences, but the main target is not the Canadian people — unless you are going to defend the criminals trying desperately to use you as human shields.

  6. I just watched a talking head on CBC, as Scott Moe, “With this talk of a 51st state, and then perhaps that the US military won’t defend us, is Donald trump a threat to our sovereignty?” At that point you know there is no hope, this passes as thinking in childish Canada. It occurs to me, dumb bitch, that if you need the US military to defend you, you already have no sovereignty, save that which the US decides, or not to provide. Arrrgggghhh!

  7. Yeah, the armpit-sniffing smug-face of modern Canadian patriotism — mostly “we are not Americans!”‘ — is truly unpalatable.

There’s no “there” there. Ask a “patriotic” Laurentian-type Canadian what they’re proud of; after a brief mental hiccup/reboot, you might hear about our “free” health care system, about how we’re not American, and how diverse we are, and then a predictable Hallmark card list of mostly ephemeral bullshit having nothing to do with our history or the people who built the country.

    We’re post-national!

  8. I’m amazed the Canadian Air Force did not shoot that pilot down as penalty for his carbon emissions.

    1. I guess the RCAF was boycotting US products too and didn’t fly the fighters we got from the US.

      1. Not too sure how many of those Gen 1 Cf-18’s are airworthy, I know none of them are combat worthy.

Probably don’t have a single air to air missile new enough to trust.

        1. When Boeing made a trade complaint against Bombardier they got double whammied. Canada didn’t buy new F18s and Boeing got an Airbus factory on American soil building Bombardier planes. Slick management they have going on there.

  9. Meanwhile, Montreal is trying to stop its renowned bagel shops from using wood fired ovens to make their, oh so, Canadian product. It has very little to say about the wood pellets it exports to countries that believe burning wood is a renewable biomass resource. We are not a serious country.

    1. History is replete with the eulogies of unserious countries. They last exactly as long as it was in the interest a serious country to make them last. Then poof! It appears that the US may be tiring of it’s whinging brat and is going to cut us off. Buh-bye!

  10. My own brother has deleted his social media pages and cancelled his Amazon account. Saying he will not support these American entities while the bad orange man is in the White house. LMAO, oooo, way to make a stand bro.

  11. Children of government in this place are embarrassing.

Hate is the only thing the Liberal racists are good at, conveniently they pivot from hate for all things canadian to hate for Americans because Trump said boo!

Ignorant, easily manipulated, choosing poverty for pretty words, juvenile is almost too big a word for these children, they have no respect for others.

  12. The same 80% of Canadians are now so proud to be Canadians, who said they’d turn me in if they saw me standing too close to another, the gal who saw me in Superstore wearing a face mask that was only hanging by one of my ears, the same as the fat clown who wanted to fight me for walking the wrong way in a Calgary thrift store while my daughter screamed at me to “back the F down dad…” (made you look Macq lol.. )

Kicking Horse Coffee is easily one of the worst “premium priced” coffees I’ve ever had in my life.
Off the grocery shelf Melitta is vastly superior

I should be more pro Canadian? I was significantly more pro Canadian when we had “Dominion Day” and prior to the various governments of Canada writing a million additional pages of legislation to curb our liberty.

    1. You and I shared the same experiences. I didn’t know Calgary had so much in common with Ottawa. Good thing I didn’t move there.

    2. Three Sisters roast is pretty good, way better than starbucks anything.

You were close, Kicking Horse is owned by Lavazza, now.

  13. Let me give you an example of what is taking place behind the scenes.

Bixler Jewelers prides itself on being the oldest jeweler in the US. They started in 1785 in Pennsylvania. They are the ninth oldest US business on record. The were purchased not too long ago by Scorn Company (out of Vermont)…who promptly moved all the jeweler’s manufacturing to Montreal. So, the US’s oldest jeweler technically became a Canadian company.

When the tariffs were announced, they immediately moved a massive amount of their product down into US stores to beat the kick in. And, then the 30 day delay kicked in, and they are presently scrambling to set up manufacturing in the US once again. THIS is the goal of the current US presidential administration. That’s just a single example between two countries. The same scenario will be playing out hundreds and hundreds of times across the globe. All the ill feelings and name calling is not going to mean a hill of beans at the end of the day. The bottom line will be the bottom line.

  14. May it end this shithole, and may the same good folks who made up the convoy hunt the Laurentian Elite, no season, no bag limit.

  15. “Canadiano” is not a new drink invented to send a message — it has been available for at least ten years where I get a brew –as I understand it, Canadiano differs from Americano in having coffee + espresso instead of water + espresso. It’s strong but not free.

  16. Meethead dives to deeper levels of irrelevancy, beclowning himself on the least watched network.
He’s running third in his riding, he REEKS of desperation, and vastly overestimates his importance and influence.
His role is akin to a parasite at end stage.

  17. Breaking: Citizens of nation resentful towards authoritarian regime over brazen annexation attempts.

  18. Does “Team Canada” mean that the eastern provinces will start buying Alberta oil, and tell the oil tankers from Saudi Arabia to turn around and not come back? Funny how this latest all-for-one-and-one-for-all only started when it was Quebtario who were going to get their financial a**es kicked.

  19. I always enjoy Jagmeet’s tik tok videos.
He is like a comic book hero and shit.
Whoa! Say it with a tough teen age voice there, Jag.
Wrap that sheet tighter, sheet head.
    Rolex on, bro.

  20. I’m in on the boycott. My long departed Mom told me decades ago, “Trapper the problem with Canada is quebek”.

She was born at home in a farm house in Manitoba. She kept an enemies list and knew what the fwenchman was up to in Canada. She ran a life long boycott of quebekkie.

You won’t find me boycotting the USA.

  21. Canada and its corrupt institutions all worship at the alter of a clear psychopath, Pierre the Turdhole.
The country is doomed by its ignorant self delusional masses.
