Note the two elderly men … one 90yo and could barely walk … dragging a hose around his home with marginal water pressure … yet he saved his home in the middle of a fearsome firestorm. And the USELESS “First Responder” Fireman or policeman with the body cam spent an hour of wasted time trying to get the old man to evacuate. Yeah … “First Responder”. Yet WHAT is their real function? What are we paying them for? And we call these “First Responder” … *cough* *cough* … heroes WHAT!??!!

    The other old man stated there were ZERO “First Responder” Firefighters actually fighting any fires. NONE. While he hosed down his and his immediate neighbors homes, and saved them. He clearly stated that his entire neighborhood could have been saved if there had been a single fire truck and crew fighting the fires.

    What were our “First Responders” doing? They were retreating. They weren’t running INTO the fire … they were escaping FROM it. Not a good look. They were all getting AWAY from the fire so as not to jeopardize their lives or their cushy pensions.

    Sorry, but these “First Responders” didn’t respond to Jack shit. They behaved like keystone cops in a Hollywood silent film. “Oh well … no water in the hydrants, let’s all go back to the station for lunch” “What’s on the menu today? Filet Mignon? The LAFD and LAPD are pathetically useless. Yes, we are on our own in every way … every day. The old men understood that … no one else did.
