Bronwyn Eyre: The Green Slush Fund era may be finally over, but hands off our pensions!

Also, note that the planned first edition of the Pipeline Online Grimes Sales and Service Podcast is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 20. I’ll post more details as that comes up. Eyre will be my co-host, and for the first one we’re talking royalties and maybe a bit more.

  1. The “hands off our pensions” argument would carry more weight if most pensions were not essentially insolvent ponzi schemes, particularly the ones directly run by governments.

  2. The Lieberals, run by the Turd, deliberately and systematically made Canadians worse off. Making us worse off than at any other time in Canadian history. Those who refused to realise this are the people who invested too much into to the Trudeau Cult. Even at this moment, there are people struggling paycheque to paycheque thinking the Turd is saving them from the evil Conservatives..

    Great article: https://nationalpost.com/opinion/carson-jerema-abolish-the-liberal-party

“Nothing happens in this country unless it benefits the Liberals. No one is hired, no cavity is filled, no money is invested and no child is educated, without partisan approval. And, it is only approved if there is some electoral gain, however narrow. The rapid increase in immigration over the past decade could, as it has in the past, create a long-term base of Liberal voters. It is hard to believe the Liberals being as enthusiastic about immigration, if it didn’t have this prospect.”

“If it weren’t for Canada’s geographic proximity to the U.S., and the wealth that comes with that, this country would be a failed state. There is only one solution and that is the destruction of the Liberal party.”

    1. Good post Eric.

I’d take this one step further. Yes the LPC exists to advance only it’s own agenda and see’s Canada as it’s personal bank account but hidden within there is quebek. Everything the LPC does is to the benefit of quebek. What’s in it for quebek? is the first and only question asked when contemplating new legislation or programs. That is where the core corruption lies within the LPC.

Eventually the country will dissolve. No country can call itself a country when it’s run on this basis, and it won’t last.

      1. I’m attempting to quote from memory something that I seem to recall Conrad Black once saying and it was along the lines of “the federal Liberals been successful to convincing a majority of Canadians that the English-French divide is THE single greatest threat/issue/problem facing Canada and that the federal Liberals are by far, the best, most competent persons to deal with this.” Or something like that.

But what if this tired shibboleth – which has consumed/exhausted the existential energies of what, two, three generations of Canadians – is no longer true?

  4. The Trudeau’s have always been very good friends who helped us buy up Canadian natural resources at bargain prices.

  5. An excerpt from former Sask Premier Brad Wall’s article:

“I recall when I was the lone Premier and Saskatchewan was the lone province opposing his carbon tax. I know the kinds of things he and his Environment Minister Catherine McKenna said about us … about Saskatchewan … behind closed doors and to some whom they believed had assured discretion.”

As a person from Saskatchewan, I would like to know what was said in those meetings. It’s long past time that Alberta and Saskatchewan people really understand that the two provinces will never reach their full economic potential within Canada. That the central/eastern Canada political machine and their voters will deliberately and with malice inhibit the western prairie’s economy…while cashing in massive federal equalization payments.

How many equalization dollars go to Alberta and Saskatchewan?$0.00.
Even after having our economy continually shackled and attacked by the rest of Canada for decades, we still manage to punch way above our weight. Imagine how the two provinces would thrive if they were unchained from the rest of Canada.

    1. Getting unchained from the rest of Canada will only happen if we unchain ourselves from weak provincial leaders.

  6. Turd Jr. is/was not the most damaging PM I think that Pearson holds that title. He started the break up of Canada with his soft communism. Some credit for Pearson has to go to Deffenbaker (spelling). Pierre the Turd started Canada on deficit financing and every asshole AKA PM since has just boered us in deeper.

    1. Lester P. Arson? He established th Welfare State, AKA Socilaism} in Canada and subverted it’s statehood to the UN. for vanity reasons. Maybe you are correct, Ynpt.

  7. I recall reading an article recently where a Pension Fund was run by 1 guy investing in ETFs, given that CPP has lots of administrators and is actively managed to get worse returns than the S&P500, maybe that’s something the government should consider.

Not the Trudeau government, obviously, they’ll just demand investments in the Green sector.

  8. What makes people think the green slush fund era is over?

It’s simply been rebranded, and the Trudeau/Singh government refuses to turn over documents to Parliament. Except for documents with the text completely blacked out.

    1. Don’t be surprised to find the “Conservatives” come up with a not carbon tax and maintain all the “green” programs and continue the disbursement of our tax dollars to third world shitholes and tranzy orgnaisations, including the UN. It’s the globalist/WEF plan, donchya know.

  9. I hope the green slush fund era is over; but there are many guilty (liberal) parties who will fight to prevent any prosecutions, or even public exposure.
