Over a number of years, I have enjoyed listening to The Roy Green Show, Corus network on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Excellent interviewer with very good guests. Last weekend, he announced that the show would be ending on January 26, 2025. He has had a number of health concerns last year, but I think it is more likely that the Corus Network will not be around for very much longer.
The conspirator in me would suggest the jabawocky may have contributed to his health. After all he publicly explained on his show he was taking the jab to protect his loved ones and was after all the “right thing to do”.
Not sure how Corus will come to it’s end. But an end is coming. Divest assets, sell to some predatory hedge fund or maybe just fade to black when a debtor pulls the plug?
I’m a radio guy 100%. Listen to worldwide radio daily. I suspect the radio stations in the ‘good markets’ will survive in some stripped down form. Radio is cheap to operate but it has to pay it’s way. The cbc should be interested in what becomes of Corus. So should CTV
