What Are The Odds?

Cybertruck “explodes” outside of Trump Tower in Las Vegas.

New video.

Update: “fireworks-stle mortars”
@charliekirk11

Wild. Both the New Orleans pickup truck and the Cybertruck that exploded in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas were rented using the Turo app.

Potential act of terrorism: “All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.” … rigged with a detonation system, according to CNN.

  1. Someone is sending a message and I would put money on them being a left leaning Marxist drone.

  2. It’s an EV, so I would say that the odds were actually pretty good. EVs are gonna EV.

    1. Someone in the comments mentioned the explosion (and the fire) looks to have come from inside the cabin and not from the bottom of the truck where the battery resides.

  3. Glad to see Our Four Years of Leftist Stochastic Terrorism™ has gotten off to a great start.

    1. 30 years ago the FBI could track a bomber down with a fragment of a VIN or a serial number on a twisted piece of metal.
It’s a freaking cybertruck. There are less than 30,000 of them. All presumably connected to the internet and traceable at all times.

  4. January 20th is coming.

Things are getting dicey. The Left is increasingly unhinged. Waiting for the riots to start.

    1. Yeah … don’t worry though … ANTIFA is just an ideology … not a real Terrorist Group. Just ask the FBI Director. The man who told Congress he thought Trump had been hit with shrapnel or something. Oh! And they’re STILL investigating the young wannabe assassin … investigating … investigating … can’t comment on an ongoing investigation

  5. EVs, the new IEDs. The government helps you buy one and there are no hassles in getting the explosives and detonators.

  6. It comes in threes.
There will be another event. And then the West should know that it’s coming.

Wait … maybe the drones were the first event?

  7. Oh, a cyber truck is it now? Imagine pulling up to Home Depot with that ugly piece of shit.
The love child of Art Deco and Brutalism.

    1. Actually saw one parked in front of my local Home Depot yesterday, with Ciudad de Mexico plates.
Nothing implied, but thought it was a bit odd.

  8. I think I’d like to know a little more about that Virginia arrest the other day. What was that guy’s name? Brad Spafford?

  9. Someone died in the vehicle, presumably the driver. Sex has yet to determined, so either the remains are pretty far gone or the coroner is waiting for the remains to list pronouns.

    1. A couple of things to consider.

      1. It’s a Cybertruck. In other words, it is perfectly capable of rolling up to an address without the input of a driver. So, just assuming the body found in the vehicle was the assailant is not a done deal like the media seems to be pushing right now.

      2. A rented Cybertruck is going to have data sharing enabled. That means the camera placed in the front of the vehicle would be constantly downloading images to the Tesla servers. Anyone who stood within a 180 degree field to the front of the vehicle will be documented by the operational camera.

      3. Using an exploding Cybertruck in front of Trump’s Hotel seems a bit over the top. It smells more like an Op. The fact that federal law enforcement is already stating that the driver in the vehicle initiated the explosion without a completed investigation from the Medical Examiner doesn’t negate that possibility. It enhances it.

  10. A few incidents here and there, but nothing like the predicted co-ordinated wave of terror that some are expecting either this month or early into the new presidency. No telling what could be in the works after four years of virtually no border controls.

  11. Truck did a job of containing the blast. They may want to send the next guy out with a pinto.

    1. Yeah, the exterior isn’t much damaged; the explosion was mostly directed up by the bed of the truck. Las Vegas police better store that vehicle well away from any other vehicles, as some of the batteries may have been damaged.
