Who knew that a Canadian court would side with the rightful owners of a piece of property for once? I’m sure this will be denounced as a slap in the face to “reconciliation” but in the meantime it’s good to know that not everyone in authority desires a return to mob rule.
Court of King’s Bench Justice Sarah Inness granted the injunction Monday afternoon, ordering over a dozen people alleged to be participating in the blockade to stop preventing access to the roughly seven hectares of forest land owned by Tochal Development Group south of the Perimeter Highway.
About 50 people, including neighbouring residents and First Nations, gathered Monday morning in the camp, which was set up over the weekend. They’re demanding the city to step in and stop the developer from chopping down trees in what they say is sacred land that must be preserved.

Isn’t it amazing how every little piece of land that someone wants to develop turns out to be some sacred Indian land, but never the land that nobody wants to do anything on, that’s never sacred land.
Until someone wants to develop that useless piece of land, THEN all of a sudden its sacred land.

Just because some ancestor of yours took a dump on a trail between 2 teeny -tiny villages ,a THOUSAND YEARS AGO ,doesn’t make the surrounding 10,000 square miles around it your “tribes” land
A close relative just retired from one of the telcoms. He used to be responsible for expanding the cell network. He often needed to negotiate with reserve chiefs and councils to install towers on reserves. Every inch of a reserve always had sacred graves located at the best place for a tower until his company agreed to pay the chief and his relatives enough to make the graves disappear. Every time.

Ask them to provide some marker or survey of their claim to the land, using their mystical surveying skills, written on the typical medium they used.
