That a sociopathic rich kid who’s too lazy to write a real manifesto (262 words is the insane diarist’s version of premature ejaculation) might skip the woods-and-privation part of the Unabomber story and jump straight to the American cheat code for fame isn’t surprising. That everyone from Amy Goodman at Democracy Now! to Michael Moore to writers at the New York Times and Washington Post would sign on to Mangione’s Bonnie-and-Clyde ploy and turn a murder into a referendum on health insurance and a forum for recognizing “public anger” (ten minutes ago denounced as both imaginary and a threat to democracy) is more surprising, but only slightly so.
And that was only the icing on the 2024 bull pie.

The good thing about this, is that the majority responsible for Canada’s fundamental weakness are those same ones least prepared when the next unavoidable and predictable phase ensues, they will be the first to fall.

The demographic targeted by Obamakkare never read the fine print. The part that said you will $$PAY$$ for Obamakkare. They thought we were all getting FREE medical care … and nobody would have to $$PAY$$ anything. But these young, healthy, people went from paying NOTHING because they refused to even pay for a “major medical” insurance policy … to PAYING a hefty chunk of their income for a truly awful “bronze” plan with gigantic deductibles thus ensuring they would also PAY as they go in addition to paying for “medical insurance”. So these people simply pay the IRS Tax penalty for NOT enrolling in Obamakkare as that is still cheaper than paying for crap coverage. And yeah … they know they’ll still get FREE medical care if needed … just like before Obamakkare.
These are the economic ignoramuses who now blame “for-profit” Corporations for the high cost of Obamakkare. They all need Econ 101 … TANSTAAFL.

Doesn’t United Health Care have the highest rate of insurance claim rejections? Are these legitimate rejections? Of course, this is not any justification for murdering the CEO but there would be a lot of aggrieved rejectees out there.
I have just come off my United Healthcare PPO Medicare plan … only because United Healthcare changed it to an HMO. I paid $75/mo. in addition to the $175/mo. Part B Medicare deduction. Never once did United Healthcare deny or delay any coverage. However, they did charge an unaffordable rate for Ozempic and Mounjaro … which my endocrinologist prescribed for me … I tried and hated and ceased taking.
I don’t believe all the statistics about United Healthcare. Why? Because I want the DETAILS of those statistics. I want to know WHAT care was denied and why? I want to know what alternate care was approved. We don’t ever get DETAILS about these statistics … because I expect reasonable people would find the decisions were medically reasonable. So sorry that United Healhcare denied your FREE marijuana “treatment” … right?
