4. You don’t have to go to Chicago or New York, they have come to Regina ! The same people that are pushing mass transit are making laws to kill it.

5. Downtown Regina (the city which rhymes with “fun”) seems to have changed a bit from my twisted youth, we didn’t have pepper/bear spray back then, just fire extinguishers, and nobody brought an axe or hatchet to a knife fight…
   The bear spray incident is minor, this area has been on knife edge so to speak for decades, and doesn’t have anything to do with “new canadians” or terrorism, probably more to do with “old canadians” and grievances which go back +100 years

   The empty lot in this photo is where the Metropolitan Theatre “The Met” was back in the 70’s and across the street from “Army & Navy” store, now possibly the largest Tim’s Coffee in Canada.
   The lot’s been empty for at least 20 years..

6. So you all need to carry gas masks and baseball bats on your public transportation. A few broken legs and smashed faces will put a quick stop to this nonsense.

   1. When I first moved to Regina, I worked just east of Broad Street on Victoria Avenue. I caught the 3:15 p.m. bus west at the Cornwall Centre at the end of my work day. At that time of the day the bus was full of Muslim women immigrants and First Nations people (usually high on drugs or alcohol). It was NOT a pleasant experience and I tried to keep well away from the other occupants on the bus.

   1. My guess, since it’s Regina, is that they were first immigrant kids off the reserve getting back at whitey for being second immigrants.
