      Saskatchewan and Alberta will be enough. As a matter of fact maybe just Alberta. There is a measurable difference in attitude between the 2 provinces and Sask may be on the outs at present.

    We’re better off separating from tier 2 Canada and going our own way with an American type of constitution, and I’m absolutely not anti USA.

    3. However, in a republican government, we would have the benefit of a Senate to put a check on the representatives and governor. Since it is bottom up governance, municipalities can disregard edicts from the capital. Many Republican counties have told the Democratic governor to shove it over confiscation of firearms.

  11. Trade deficit means little to the US. It’s all raw materials or some goods trans-shipped from China to avoid American tariffs. None of it is manufactured as Canada manufactures almost nothing and what they do manufacture is high cost for local consumption. Oil and gas are the biggest exports to the US and any surplus is processed in the US and re-exported at a big profit.
