On Thursday, the Post published an explanatory guide for Americans thinking about leaving the United States after Donald Trump’s overwhelming victory in the 2024 election, offering tips on obtaining a visa to live in Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. For some reason, the article did not include tips on how to immigrate to the many African countries where English is the primary language.

Geez… and GYM gets away with his hysteria, his pejorative name calling, his smears of an entire community, namely Catholics, by constantly attacking the RCC, or any other “biblepounder” sect of Christianity, and general overall uncivility. So I have to wonder now what PV must have said to have actually gotten banned.
      That’s must have been one hulluva line to cross!

      1. I don’t have the man hours to police comments, so get your head around the idea that clamp downs will be completely arbitrary. But make no mistake — when pushed, I will and have, rooted out every last comment made by a troll over time spans covering years, and nuked every last one of them.

          If you wanted to ban me, I’d be upset, but I’ll be able to live with it, because I recognize that this is YOUR site, and you should be able to do anything you want with it.

          Having said that, I will continue, as long as I am allowed to, to call out behavior inciting violence or glorifying death. I will continue, as long as I am allowed to, to call out bigots who attacks entire communities of people for their faith or politics with slanderous pejoratives.

          I will continue, as long as I am allowed to, to call out people who smear people with quips about victimizing children, without merit or evidence, and who consistently fails to back up their libelous claims with credible sources.

          If that kind of activity gets me banned, then I will accept that and will go on living my life, but while I’m still here, and still active, I will continue to express my personal views, and astonishment that the people engaging in that kind of activity that I just described are still allowed to continue posting these kinds of vile remarks on your platform.

      The guy fired 80% of Twitter. It is my considered opinion that the same could be done in government over the course of 4 years, at a rate of 20% per year, and American civilians would not even notice.

    2. I must admit that the call centre folks, if they answer the phone within 2 hours, are seriously testing my patience. Yes, they do sort-of speak English, but it is fast and garbled, heavily accented, as the mothers who raised these Canadian kids never learned to speak either of our 2 official languages.

      And also, call centres are now mostly out-sourced to India and wherever.

      I think we need to follow the USA and cancel citizenship for all children born in Canada without parents who both do not have FULL Canadian citizenship. What the flick is a permanent resident? Who needs temporary workers except for picking berries? Canadian parents should make their children earn their allowances at mcJobs. Lots to be learned.

      Stop the pregnant pay-for a Canadian baby scheme. Richmond BC is a hot spot for overseas families to pull that off, with overseas laundered $$$ parked in Canadian banks.

      Universities and fake diploma schools need to cut really dumbed-down “courses” and avoid “international students” to pay for crappy fake business degrees. Find a billionaire to gift an endowment instead, and cut administrative costs. Jim Pattison comes to mind in BC.

      If one checks the facts, governments before Mulroney cut refugee and immigration programs in bad times. In good times, we need 1st/2nd world immigrants, not life-long welfare recipients. Polish plumbers and South African doctors are excellent! Lest you think me to be a racist, I am simply looking for COMPETENCE. Lots of Nigerians are good candidates too.

      Also, family reunion old folks clutter our heavily-burdened health care system. My house-keeper from an un-named country, who arrived in the 1980’s, has 90 imported “cousins” with minimal education. This is a seriously bad program. My great great grandfather got an axe and a plot of land, IF he improved it. He did gain title, but was not able to bring aged parents.

      1. Here’s the thing: unless you allow the government to revoke Canadian citizenship – which I think is a Rubicon that must not be crossed, because it’s worse than the alternative – then there’s no fixing this. Canada is already lost.

        It is practically possible but politically impossible to do what needs to be done: cancel every single visa, deport every non-citizen, and slam the door shut on immigration for a generation. Allow immigration solely for people with necessary skills and require a Canadian citizen to sponsor them for ten years living in Canada before they can apply for citizenship (and any single Canadian can sponsor exactly one person, ever). Not a single taxpayer penny for “newcomer services”. And just for grins, make any crime committed in the course of protesting on behalf of a foreign power or political movement an automatic terrorist offence.

        Because we give away citizenship like water, even if you do all that there’s still a massive monolithic voting block of three million South Asian and Middle Eastern voters concentrated in the 905 who will vote for anyone who lets them bring more of their relatives and countrymen here and give them free shit.

        When the anglos tried to overrun the Quebecois with Irish refugees, it didn’t work because the Quebecois were rigidly chauvinist and simply assimilated the Irish. Canada has no national identity or civilizational confidence, so it will be overrun by immigrants who do.

  7. Trump’s appointments and nominations are working fabulously. If 25% of government employees resign, that would be a good start.

    There have been sufficient crimes committed by DOJ employees to keep Gaetz use for the next 8 years.
