The recriminations are flying, as Barack Obama’s and Joe Biden’s forces go to war over who’s more to blame for Democrats’ humiliating defeat Tuesday. So long as the left is pointing fingers, let it direct a big, fat digit at the outfit that played the biggest role in losing it this election: the U.S. media.
That isn’t the conventional wisdom, which holds that the press’s naked shilling for Democratic candidates amounts to an in-kind campaign contribution. And no doubt the media’s ceaseless attacks on Donald Trump and Republicans did help round up some undecided voters. Yet the boosterism for Kamala Harris & Co. came at a far bigger cost: A narrative full of fantasy enabled Democrats to live in a world disconnected from the mood and worries of the country.
Among the most damaging of these fantasies was the four-year press assurance that Joe Biden was sharp as a tack. Even video evidence in June of a confused president wandering aimlessly at the Group of Seven was met with claims that the footage was “edited,” “lacking context,” “misleading.” Only when the Trump-Biden debate made Mr. Biden’s decline undeniable did the media drop the charade. Then it immediately turned to recast Ms. Harris—a presidential primary loser turned unpopular vice president—as a political genius and the obvious savior of the Democratic Party. How’d that work out?
However much you hate the legacy media, it’s not enough.
I don’t think the media lost the election for the Democrats. The Democrats proved themselves perfectly capable of doing that on their own. The media has simply made itself irrelevant by showing itself incapable of telling the truth. On the other hand the dominant idea that anyone can be anything at any time has shown itself to be false. Kamala could never be POTUS. She is simply too incompetent. While I don’t worship the ground that Trump walks on I do compare the two and with unbiased eyes I can recognise that Trump is by far the better choice.

They were frantic to ensure that Trump would not become 47th President. Gaslighting had worked for them 2016-20 quite well. It was helped along by the Deep State in DOJ and FBI. I’m a regular consumer of The Daily Mail … yeah, yeah, I know … but they actually do a better/faster job of reporting CA News than any local news outlet.
So … pre-election the DM posted anti-Trump after anti-Trump articles … always claiming that Trump was “raging” about something he simply spoke about in one of his Rallies. And reading the comments … there would be an absolute FLOOD of anti-Trump commentary. Poster after poster would savage Trump … leading one to believe there is an overwhelming amount of anti-Trump sentiment. Fast forward to the post election stories about Trump. All the anti-Trump posters and comments are gone. There are virtually NONE.
That tells me the media and the Harris campaign were hiring an army keyboard warriors to create the illusion of an overwhelming anti-Trump sentiment. It’s all FAKE. The Democrat Party is a FRAUD. They have no sane policies they can run on … so they create the ILLUSION of Trump hate. They make me ill.
