8. The single payer no charge at use monopoly system relies on rationing to control costs. No rationing is employed when it comes to human imports by the state. Demand for treatment is now out-stripping supply and Quebec is now rationing access to doctors engaged in preventive care. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature. Eventually all “health care” in Canada will be only available at your local emergency rooms if they’re still open. There will be no waiting lists or rationing for MAID.
