It looks like the vanguard of the proletariat is at it again, this time in Vancouver.
Days after a political sign was erected outside Chip Wilson’s Vancouver mansion, the waterfront property has been vandalized with graffiti.
Spray-painted messages, including “Selfish billionaire lives here” and “F*** you Chip,” were spotted on the lavish Point Grey home over the weekend.
I suppose our elite educators have done a good job teaching young people to hate the rich and successful, but they never seem to encourage entrepreneurship.
I wish I’d been as smart and inventive as the LULUlemon guy, or any of the billionaire types, but we were taught in school to be good peasants vying for a job in government or in a mine or a lumber mill, but at least we weren’t taught to envy the rich.
We live in an oligarchy managed by their communist puppets, kind of a contradiction, but it works for them.
Just walked past Chip’s house. A new sign is a bit toned down but will still get maximum media exposure. That’s the deal, right?

Phil – That was my take away as well. A conservative by BC standards is still far left in most of the civilized world.
I suggest the sign should read, “When normal people suddenly become the far right, you know you’re dealing with communists.”

I love the look on their faces when I explain that if we seized all of the assets of every billionaire in Canada It wouldn’t cover even 1/4 of the yearly federal budget. If you split it up amongst the population it would be a cheque for less than $4000 each. When I was a kid in the 70’s that would be enough for a very nice new car. Today it won’t cover first and last month’s rent on an apartment. What then? Take all of the millionaire’s money? And when that runs out in less than a year what then?
