   Chimps and other apes laugh…..and, many decades ago, at Toronto Zoo, I observed a ‘teenage’ Orang set up a younger member who’d been bugging him.

   The teenage Orang, having been ‘harassed’ by the younger one, sat with his back to the young one while having one hand dangling in the stream that ran through their enclosure.

   The young one snuck up while the older one, back still turned, gave no indication that he was being stalked……until the last second when he spun around and soaked the little guy.

   1. Birds laugh. I’ve heard them. No, they weren’t cackling evilly at me, but you’re wise to ask, that is the sort of thing you want to check up on.
