Blacklock’s- Gould Inflates Green Claims
Government House Leader Karina Gould yesterday claimed cabinet’s climate plan cut emissions by “the equivalent of 60 million cars.” Aides did not substantiate the claim. Emissions went up in the last official reporting period, and Canada has never had 60 million cars.
Gould did not identify any source for the claim.
The Department of Environment did not comment on Gould’s claim.
By cars she meant Hot Wheels.

It would be easier to prove it increased global emissions by 60 million cars equivalent due to Chinese emissions increased (mostly coal energy) because they’re taking all our jobs lost by high taxes.

And she’s accustomed to lying. Gould was the one that petitioned the Speaker to have the visit by Hrunka in 2023 deleted from the Commons Parliamentary Record to try to falsify the historical record.
I lived in Burlington when she was elected but I certainly didn’t vote for her.
It was climate barbie 1.0 that exclaimed that if they scream a lie loud enough and often enough, people will believe them!
Now look at where she is! She claims to be “out of politics” but the reality is that she is merely “out of government.”

To what extent, notwithstanding Canada’s puny CO2 contribution, do our massive boreal forests cut emissions?

If the goal is to reduce CO2 emissions in Canada, let the Federal Government lead by example:
• No more air travel. No exceptions.
• No more limousines, taxis, Uber etc. No exceptions.
• No more fancy taxpayer-funded meals. No more booze. No exceptions.
• All government meetings will be conducted remotely. This includes swanky conferences, seminars, training, trade shows, news conferences, meetings at the UN, etc. No exceptions.
No more farting hence no more eating, breathing or existing.
Right you are, David. They are the most profligate emitters of CO2 in Canada, so it’s plainly obvious that they don’t believe the BS about the global warming scam. If they did, they would act like they did.

Unfortunately, the emissions reduction of 60 million cars, was overtaken and cancelled by the emissions of Justin Trudeau flying all over the world on taxpayer paid for flights.
