  1. “She has recused herself from all discussions related to Dix au Carré,” said Press Secretary Mounier-Desrochers. “She has never played any role in the awarding of government funds to this company.”

this implies that she has played a role in the awarding of government funds to other companies. What other companies have gotten funds, and how are they connected to the liberals?

And of course the follow up question, who did approve awarding funds to the ministers boyfriend’ company?

  2. How much Liberal corruption do we have to endure? This party, and everyone in it, are completely f#d.

    1. The article says,”boyfriend”. Joly wouldn’t have to have input on a contract or grant awarded to a spouse or significant other, the people awarding the contracts/grants know the person’s name and as they all look after each other, nothing more has to be said.

When I worked in the provincial civil service, a contractor who was the brother-in -law of one of my fellow employees was on occasion awarded a small contract on the grounds that he was “so-and-so’s” brother in law. The employee was never consulted about the contract.

That’s just the way it’s done, and quite probably in the private sector as well.

  3. She has recused herself?

Wink, wink. Wanna bet the rest of the cabinet and the civil servants giving away the money know who Joly’s husband is?

  4. The Liberal scandals just keep coming. But how much will we see in the MSM? Just imagine the media hysteria if this was the Conservative Party with a lengthy rap sheet like the Lib’s.
