  1. It’s important to remember that the Trudeau Liberal government’s pattern is to create divisions and distractions. Setting up a war between it’s traditional stronghold in Quebec, where it is now massively losing votes, and the rest of Canada helps the Trudeau Liberal-NDP government increase their vote share in Quebec. By inflaming these divisions, Trudeau also distracts voters from the awfulness and corruption of his government.

I too wish Quebec would just leave but we all know they won’t because threatening separation is merely a bargaining tactic.

      1. It is about getting the Conservative Party sucked into attacking Quebec to get Quebecers thinking of voting Conservative to switch back to voting for Liberals. The Liberal Party is down to its last two strongholds, Quebec and Toronto. It’s losing vote share there too if you look at what happened in the Toronto byelection and polls in the upcoming Montreal byelection. Liberals are in desperation mode because they could be looking at 3rd party status after the next election and this time there’s no saviour in sight.

        1. I understand the postulation, historically, Da Liberals wit da liddle guy from Shawinigan, wrapped themselves in the flag, opposing the separatists, nation be damned.
I suppose it’s true, LC, that this edition of da Liberals, with T2, will sell out anything, if it means more power, or enriching themselves.
The worst, and most unethical government of my lifetime, 61 trips around the Sun, and not even close.

  2. When do we get out own party and state with special constitutional privileges? Asking for a friend.

  3. Excellent.

This will endear the #Libranos with all those who see the endless flow of funds into Quebec as a good thing.
Hopefully the Bloc insists on more funding, more representation, maybe a new museum for Montreal?

  4. If Canadians are a ridiculous, ressentiment-addled little people, then the Quebecois are an even more-ridiculous, more-ressentiment-addled, even smaller people.

Beneath their air of press-on modernity – of which they is so very proud – the average French Canadian is a mere two or three generations removed from one of the most docile, unquestioning, obedient, quietistic groups of people ever to inhabit the earth since the Dark Ages. And while they have thrown out their Clericalism and Catholicism, they still believe in saints, miracles and magic (remember Lucien Bouchard’s fabled “magic wand?”), only now these exist in the secular/political realm aka “Salvation through the State.”

One of the SDA commenters said it best a few months back (I copied it down because it was so spot-on):

“When it comes to language paranoia, Quebec is into old style fascism. To me, Quebec has always seemed like Canada’s largest and most populous Indian Reserve. It’s an ethnic ghetto in a time warp of marinating in collective resentment, grievance, bigotry, and entitlement. It warrants discriminatory political, constitutional and state supplied fiscal favour. They both require state coercion to protect their cultural inheritance. They both relish in their enslavement of Canadian taxpayers and are averse to the notion of free will and equality under the law.”

The Rest of Canada needs to make Quebec an offer: the province must be radically re-imagined along more free-market, Anglo-Saxon lines, or it must go.

    1. “The Rest of Canada needs to make Quebec an offer: the province must be radically re-imagined along more free-market, Anglo-Saxon lines, or it must go.”

      Absolutely.

First, take away all the ‘perks’ that they have extorted from the rest of Canada. Start by rescinding that outrageous agreement to not include their hydro revenues in equalization payments. Take away their extra Senators and Supreme Courst judges as well as funding for their separate EI, taxation, health, immigration etc systems and whatever else they have ‘negotiated’ (read: extorted from us under the ridiculous threat of “separation”) over the years. Treat them *exactly* like any other province, and tell them “there’s the door” if they don’t like it. They can’t afford to leave Canada, and they know it. CALL THEIR BLUFF for once.

Stephen Harper proved that you don’t need Quebec to win government.

(oh, and take the extra three MPs away from PEI while you are at it. They need *one*, nor four…)

  5. Libranos seek help from a party who’s mission is to break up the country? Truth is stranger than fiction

  6. Hopefully this pumps up the separatist sentiment in Alberta/Sask. as well.

    Good job there Justin.
    Thanx

*Perhaps before the next election, there will be room in the Senate for Jyoti Gondek and The Nenshi !!

      1. “Just got censored for saying it is the same old whore. WHY?”

Just at a quick glance, two of your words (censored and whore) could have gotten you booted just from a typo, if you accidentally substituted a ‘c’ for an ‘e’.

  7. Correct me if I’m wrong but the Conservatives will need the support of the NDP and the Bloc in order to win a non-confidence vote.

    1. You’re not entirely wrong, but not entirely correct either. Voting against Lieberals does not necessarily imply voting to support Conservatives.

  8. “Bloc Quebecois ready to extract gains for Quebec in exchange for supporting Liberals”

You are correct as usual, Kate. But let me rewrite that quote for ya.

“As usual, Bloc Quebecois ready to continue to rob the rest of Canada blind due to the theft of the ROC’s money by the corrupt, Leftist, lying, Marxist Liberals to mollify Quebec again in exchange for again supporting said Liberals.”

    Did I say again ?

    Definitely extortionists.

    1. Chalk one up for VOWG. All those years of experience around politics and politicians are proving to be beneficial.

  9. Most likely these 3 extremist party’s planned this before Jugderp Stingk said he would no longer be faithfully subservient to his WEF comrade, Juthtin the Turdhole and the corrupt Libranos.

    Its all a charade.

The Liberal/NDP/Bloc coalition Party continues, but now Queerbak will get to steal even more money from the treasury.

    Business as usual.

Wouldnt it be great if the bigots ruling over Queerbak actually had a real separatist party that actually wanted to “separate” from the other country that they rule over, Canada…?
    Too bad they dont.

We’ll just have to live with the Queerbak bigots who rule over Queerbak and Canada pretending that they”ll “separate” from the country that they designed, imposed and rule over in perpetuity.

    Perverse charade.

The payoffs and money laundering for Queerbak has already been decided… they just havent told the public yet.

    Jugderps pension awaits.

When the Mafia rules over you, this is what it looks like.

  10. “ Stephen Harper proved that you don’t need Quebec to win government.”
Harper proved to be very naive and lost to an imbecile. Leaving the imbecile over 20 senators to appoint!!
Mulroney proved conservatives can win without needing one seat in western Canada.

No matter the coalitions the golden triangle will rule…and plunder.

    1. ““ Stephen Harper proved that you don’t need Quebec to win government.”
Harper proved to be very naive and lost to an imbecile. Leaving the imbecile over 20 senators to appoint!!”

Yes, he had his flaws, for sure…but he still won government without pandering (as much) to Quebec.

“Mulroney proved conservatives can win without needing one seat in western Canada.”

Brian Mulroney was *not* a conservative. He was Liberal Lite.

  11. Quebec (at least their political majority) is part of Canada for two reasons. One, to continuously loot it by stomping their feet like spoiled, entitled teenagers and threatening to leave and, two, to harm the rest of Canada as a release of their well nurtured resentment and bigotry. They do this by supporting politicians like Trudeau and Guilbeault. Looking at the polling across the nation, they can do the most harm to the ROC by keeping Trudeau in office.

  12. Judging by the polls in Quebec it appears the Bloc will take the majority of Quebec seats. So if anything, the Bloc is ready for an election and isn’t worried if Trudeau refuses to negotiate with him
Ergo Blanchete is going to toy with Trudeau by “negotiating” in front of the microphones every chance he gets. This is a case of diminishing returns for Trudeau. If he refuses then he’s going to lose the next confidence vote. If he agrees Blanchete is just going to make him look spineless and give liberals one more reason not to vote for him.
For Poilievre it’s a situation of why waste ammo when your enemy is shooting himself in the foot.
And if pressed the correct response is
“So let’s see? If I was asked to cave to the separatists party to avoid an election or refuse and we are headed into an election? Have you seen the polls?”

  13. I was just thinking the other day.. The French deserve more.. Two billion + in transfer payments to them.. A two thousand million dollar allowance.. Year after year and they still cant rub two nickels together to make a dime..

You would think they would be rich by now?.. Investments?.. Compound interest?.. Oh, WHINE and cheese..
