I read the Wolves piece after reading The Front Page, From Hamas to America. It’s startling to see the survival tactics of wild wolves replicated in the Muslim religion. When their numbers are few, wolves are shy and compliant, sticking to their areas. When the packs grow in number, there are repeated incursions and killing for the sake of the kill. And the witless environmentalists who defend wolves do not see the real danger to the moose, elk, deer and livestock in the area. Thank you, Kate and OJ, for the meaty weekend reads.
