      Something I’ve not seen mentioned is that Musk owns and operates “X” and the EU apparently think they can tell him how to run it. The business shutdowns during the Covid Scamdemic set a precedent for government taking illegal and unconstitutional actions against business owners, but I doubt that will go down so smoothly this time around.

      IN a sane world, we’d have a US president who would remind the EU that we have a Bill of Rights, and that they can well and truly EFF OFF.

  2. At first, I thought that the EU No-Speech-Unless-I-Say-So Thu, Thierry Breton, was simply complaining to Elon Musk about talking about the current situation in the UK. Then I carefully read his letter and was astounded to see that he was actually threatening Musk about talking publicly with Donald Trump! This is sooooooo far over the line, it’s truly astounding to believe that it is happening. Has the self awareness gene of such elite cretins been surgically removed?!?

      Based on what I’ve seen from Poilievre so far, from supporting the Quebec dairy cartel oligopoly that keeps the price of Canadian milk, eggs, cheese and chicken *3 times* more expensive than American prices to agreeing that all Canadians *are guilty of genocide* against the natives, no…not good at all. And if you are a gun owner you would be nuts to put your faith in this guy, given his ‘support’ for the Freedom Convoy and treatment of an MP who happened to speak to someone that the Liberals deemed ‘far-right’ (to name just a couple of things).

      1. Well, you must first get elected into power before you can do anything. We didn’t get to where we are in one large leap….it was done over many years and will take many years to undo. As Comrade Pierre Trudeau said many years ago, it only takes a light touch on the tiller on a long voyage to end up at a destination other than the one you thought you were going to.

          That’s true, Art. I just don’t think I have faith in Poilievre to do what he promises. I trusted Stephen Harper once, and that didn’t turn out well, either…

          1. Well, Harper turned out a hell of a lot better than what we have had since 2015. And remember that Harper didn’t have a majority until 2011….two minority governments prior to that. We wouldn’t be in this bloody mess now if Harper was still in the wheelhouse.

    3. Conservative politicians and voters know the situation very well, but as only 30% of Canadians ARE conservative, it’s impossible for our politicians to be as sensible as most of us want them to be.
      Polievre walks a tight rope, one misstep and the 70%,which includes almost the entire media complex, will destroy him and the CPC, just as they are doing to Trump down in the USA.
      We’ll never get the government we really want, so all we can do is vote for the least worst.

        No thanks. At least Trump has the balls to take a stand. The news media doesn’t have nearly the power to control The Narrative that they used to have thanks to social media, so there is *no excuse* for Poilievre not to state his true intentions.

  11. Second link about what is going on. In the Thirties the German people were indoctrinated and intiminated into accepting the new laws allowing the incarceration and killing of Jews. To-day we wonder how did that happen, how could a civilized country allow that to happen, well you had better look around because it is already beginning to happen across the West.           That’s the textbook definition of fascism, which is only one step away from communism. So why does the left continue to call the Nazis ‘far-right’?

Marxism and fascism come from the same parents….they are NOT polar opposites like the left likes to claim. They are more like two street drug gangs fighting over the same territory. One gang wears red bandanas and the other wears blue. But they are essentially the same. As German businessmen used to say when comparing the two ideologies, “Under Bolshevism all your cows will be taken away from you because you are a kulak. Under National Socialism you are allowed to keep the cows; but the State takes all the milk, and you have the expense and labor of feeding them.”

    1. Me-thinks that the left stream media protests too much. This article by Huppke is a prime example of how in the tank the media has been over-run by the watermelon crowd. For an informal conversation between two people to be broadcast and garner the size of audience it did leaves little doubt that the Democrats and their supporters are running scared to the outhouse because they already know they’ve soiled themselves. Almost a decade of negative press and other media reports and Trump is still front and centre and continualling gaining support. In spite of the suppression over a billion people have at least heard part of the ‘X’ conversation and that number will continue to grow in the next few days. Is it any wonder that entrenched governments across the West are doing all they can to censor, edit, and curtail the free exchange of ideas!!!!!
