        The new President isn’t being sworn in until January 2025, that’s 5 months to sustain a protest and nothing Maduro does will surprise me, including saying he’ll hand over the Presidency, and then changing his mind on the 2nd of January 2025.

          1. I’m actually quite pessimistic about it all; Maduro survived the last crisis and will probably survive this one. He isn’t much more intelligent than the retarded Chaves, but he’s got some street smarts and found a workable way to control the country that generally hates him: divide the population into 3 parts – sheepdogs, obedient sheep, unruly sheep and feed the sheepdogs well, feed obedient sheep just about enough, but don’t feed unruly sheep at all.

      BTW, I was fishing a pond and reeling in just as a beaver was swimming by along the bank. I noticed at the last minute and made a few wild maneuvers to avoid snagging the beaver. Thankfully, I avoided hooking the critter because I certainly never want to deal with an angry, hooked beaver right at my feet. Some things you are better off knowing nothing about.
