    …after this coming December 31. Today Corus Entertainment trades at 65 cents a share, I.e. it’s a penny stock. Two years ago the stock was trading at $4 a share. The company owns a bunch of radio stations, a few specialty cable TV channels, and Global television. My stock-brockerage company stopped putting a target price on the stock, an indication that it may go belly up.

    That would be something for Global TV to disappear. It bills itself as the “second most watched TV network in Canada”, which is not saying much, since the toxic CBC is in third place. And then there is Global TV news. Watching the national news on Global is no different that watching CBC and CTV news. Global did break stories on Chinese interference, but the news section let go of Sam Cooper, a lead investigator on China spying. Oh and Chorus is being sued mega-millions by a by a pro-China Liberal MP.
