  1. Enough of the “we” shit, Coyne. “You” would not defend your Country.

    1. Coyne does not realize that imports are the problem. We used to respect Canada and our people, the governments changed all that. The people suck and as a result the country sucks.

      1. Oh, I think Coyne is finally starting to realize all sorts of things. Who knows, maybe at some date in the future he’ll even start to think about his contribution to the cesspool he’s in.

  2. Canada is an open air transit terminal for the world, a Post National State no longer a country.

In coming years it will Balkanize from within, you already see it happening in large urban cities through mass immigration and clashes between competing foreign interests on the streets. So it’s not surprising that foreign national countries will follow suit to stake their claims.

It’s an undefended resource Gold Rush folks, and the world is coming hard & fast to take what they can before they need to fight each other for the scraps.

  3. Man born to privilege, who has no children, scolds Canadians for not being willing to send their children to fight in foreign wars. I looked up his wiki page and it looks like he never bothered to join the Canadian military, nor has to risk the lives of his own children or grandchildren. “Do as I say, not as I do” (or didn’t do, in his case).

I suspect that many young Canadians and their parents have figured out that war has little to do with fighting for a higher cause. It is more about rich men getting richer by war profiteering while young men return home from foreign wars in body bags.

Also from his wiki page : “Coyne is a proponent of the Century Initiative, a proposal spearheaded by Dominic Barton to increase Canada’s population to 100 million by 2100. He admits that this lofty goal might not increase Canada’s standard of living. Nevertheless he supports it because it is ambitious and might result in more global clout for his home country.”

    1. To use one of Coyne’s favorite sayings…”Thank you, Andrew, you have delighted us long enough.”

      1. Right. Coyne has the audacity to beak off about a “country that has no concept of itself and thus is in no position to assert a national interest…”
Well, Mr. Chinless Coyne…you helped to undermine the national concept with every puke worthy paid-by-the-word piece of lefty shite you have written ad nauseum.
Begone, you ink stained chinless dough boy.

      1. “Bankers Wars” are an anti-semitic conspiracy theory pushed endlessly by people who have no concept of how the economy works.

“Private Central Bank” is an oxymoron.

Sure enough, less than 3 minutes in, the film makers start hammering the Rothschilds, the same family falsely accused of insider trading news about Wellington’s victory at Waterloo.

This crap started with the ridiculous “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, an antisemitic screed published in 1903 in Vienna, which enraged Adolf Hitler, who also had no concept how economies work.

Hitler was a fan of conspiracies that caused more than just resentment and he took genocidal action as a result.

You need to let this go, Drebbin. It’s a dead end.

        1. It was USMC Maj-Gen Smedley Butler (the highest ranking Marine at the time–there were no three or four star general in the USMC) who opined that:
          1. “I served in all commissioned ranks from second lieutenant to major general. And during that time period, I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for big business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.”
          2. “War is a racket. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.”
          3. “War like any other racket, pays high dividends to the very few. The cost of operations is always transferred to the people who do not profit.”

        2. Yes, “you can’t fight wars without money” really isn’t profound, and is certainly nor sinister or scandalous. You might as well get hung up on the existence of plumbing.

  4. Andrew The Weather Vane Coyne, the Eastern Canadian version of Foghorn Leghorn with an LSE degree, will be there till the last light is turned out to tell us all at 2 am on some state funded UHF television station run by Guy Caballero:

“Someone should DO something about this!”

  5. If a foreign country took the Atlantic provinces or a chunk of Quebec, would AB BC Sask. … still have to pay the equalisation welfare?

If Putin’s Russia took them, would the welfare dependencies out east demand that Russian pay for their tier 2 social programs with equalisation?

  6. There stopped being an “us” when we became a post national state, elected Somalis, made them immigration ministers and imported 20 million people from the third world. They ain’t my people. I no longer have a country. If the powers that be were concerned about how this would end up they should have put more thought into it before they did it. It’s too late now. They broke it, they bought it. Unless it directly affects me or my family it’s not my problem.

  7. Western Separation ASAP.
The choice of borders that we can defend is vital.
For the remorseless mobs of Gimmee Dat from the Eastern Welfare regions, will be the first to invade.
Maybe Putin would cut us a deal,we could send our parasites to The Ukraine..
With as much military training as the Ukrainian conscripts are receiving..

  8. No. My grandchildren will not risk their lives for Pride Season. I’ll hide them in the Idaho wilderness … like Wolverines.

  9. This and Coyne comments about Trump fully and finally lead me to conclude he’s lost his now collectivist mind.

  10. “we might finally get some pipelines built”,
Until the Biden folks blew them up.

  11. Who would want to defend what Canada is now? A stopping off point for people headed to the US, and some in that country are trying hard to wreck it, too. I would die to protect my family, but I am more likely to have to defend them from what Canada has become, than a foreign power.

  12. It’s amazing to me how all of the descendants of those Nazis that Canada allowed in, you know, because they were fleeing “persecution” in Europe, are still more loyal to Ukraine than they are to Canada.

Go fight the Ruskies if you think that the war is your business.

    1. I can’t think of a single Nazi admitted to Canada because he was fleeing persecution in Europe. I don’t see how such nonexistent persons could have descendants. And I don’t see why a Ukrainian in Canada owes more than the bare minimum of loyalty to Canada, or why he should be less loyal to Ukraine than he’s called to be in the circumstances.

  13. We don’t need to defend any beaches at the present. The US military is the strong arm for the deep state. Canada is just one of the countries they go to, to try new radical Communists policies , judge the acceptance or resistance and then try them on bigger countries like the US. I find it comical how some SDA readers eagerly want to embrace establishment types like Coyne when they occasionally sound like patriots of Canada.

  14. Yank here…. I always figured that Canada’s national defense strategy involved a billion black flies and 3 billion mosquitos?
