Globe and Mail- Trudeau government cuts budget of Information Commissioner
Ms. Maynard told the House of Commons committee on access to information, privacy and ethics Thursday that the Treasury Board department reduced her budget by $700,000.
“In concrete terms, this represents a significant portion of my overall IT budget or money to cover the costs of defending my orders in court or funding for a full team of investigators,” she said. “Basically this reduction in my budget will spell long delays for complainants who are seeking information from government institutions.”
It’s like sarcasm to the masses… I get it!

Trudeau will next cut the budget for auditing, legal investigations, anti-corruption departments, CSIS, and anybody else who would be able to dig up dirt on PM Weasel.
He doesn’t have to because he owns all of those institutions. The entire upper echelon of the Ministry of Justice is in his pocket, he has the RCMP baying for powers to arrest people who insult politicians (not those nasty conservatives of course), he’s appointed one retarded GG after another who’s only job is to rubberstamp anything he puts in front of them, he’s appointed 70% of the Senate and even has the two that he threw out of caucus towing his line. By tossing so many people under the bus he has the rest cowering in fear and refusing to stand up to him. The only departments that he is willing to shrink are those that don’t have the power to do anything of consequence to him.
