   1. rd, I wonder if there is a waiting list for MAID, as there is for every other medical procedure in Canada.

      Here in B.C. my doctor said the wait list for a knee replacement can be up to six years YEARS, not months. Wait time for an ultrasound; six weeks to two months, simple hernia operation; two years, most cancer treatments are delayed for so long the patient often dies while waiting.

      I wonder how the wait list for MAID compares. In my opinion, it’s probably a very short wait, as you might change your mind.
