      In a way though, this is fair. That $50K car is going to cost you $150K. That $200k house is going to cost you $750k. At least you know that stepping into the deal and most debtors are not smart enough to figure it out.

    For a $1,000,000 mortgage, on a 5 year term, you are looking at $20,000 for the admin fee and $8,444 a month payment. For comparison, a haram Mortgage from the infidel, will only run you about $6k a month.

       If user fee equals interest charge but is not interest charge, Allah won’t notice.

       Some shared home ownership plans are considered acceptable under Sharia law because one does not pay interest, per se. Instead, a private agent/financial institution purchases a property on your behalf, which you then buy from them, over time, through instalments, sort-of like rent-to-own purchases.

       This is my understanding. These arrangements are a bit more expensive, which is why Trudeau is going vote-buying, using our big 5 banks.

Gazans are not being genocided, but if they are, how come so many of them are still alive? Darfur got genocided a whole lot more effectively.

One of the best examples of forgotten ethical military history are the leaflet campaigns that targeted over 20 Japanese cities in WWII. “There is a military base here. We may destroy that base in the near future. Flee while you can.” Hiroshima and Nagasaki were two of the cities that received the leaflets (delivered by bomber air-drops).
