Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Crazy bitch.
From an NPR interview with her before the whistleblower.
“Maher has never worked directly in journalism or at a news organization. ”
“After graduation, she moved to Cairo to study Arabic. She also spent time in Syria and other countries throughout the region.”
“NPR board chair Jennifer Ferro, who led the search committee, said Maher offers visionary corporate leadership and proven fundraising strengths. ”
She joined the Wikimedia Foundation’s communications team in 2014 and became its CEO two years later. There, Maher built up a significant endowment — $140 million — to support Wikipedia’s promise to “unlock the world’s knowledge.”
I wonder where the $140 million to Wiki came from?
Oh well, more BudLight, Put A Chick In It, double down, TDS for NPR.
Hmm. She and Lara Logan should have a discussion on the Arab Spring to share their viewpoints. By the sounds of it, Maher seems like a future Stockholm Syndrome candidate.
One theory on the origins of Wikipedia is the CIA, and it wouldn’t surprise my one bit.
well that was kinda confusing regarding methods and priorities
Is there something in the Maher genealogy DNA that makes you an insufferable douche to most people?
“Ms. Maher, who graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies from N.Y.U. She is the chair of the board of directors at Signal Foundation, the nonprofit behind the secure messaging app, and is a nonresident senior fellow for democracy and technology at the Atlantic Council,”
“Atlantic Council” + “proven fundraising strengths” = Mike Benz for VP
Quoth the beeotch …
” Questioning whether our people are serving our mission with integrity, based on little more than the recognition of their identity, (MAKE BELIEVE)is profoundly disrespectful (EMOTIONAL), hurtful(EMOTIONAL), and demeaning(EMOTIONAL).”
Why can’t white whimmen speak in concrete truths? Instead of pouring out their shallow, childish, emotions?
PS … thank you Kate and Lance for fine tuning your filters … or perhaps I’m fine tuning mine … but I am not getting my comments disappeared at all any more. 🙂
not too loose. the word that starts with rein and means to make stronger cannot pass current filter setting.
interesting what wd be deemed offensive
