Two confidential CSIS witnesses have testified that CSIS director David Vigneault took the rare step of changing a sensitive intelligence report on MP Han Dong for the second time in 2023, following a meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Vigneault regarding media leaks about CSIS investigations into suspected Chinese interference in Dong’s 2019 nomination in Toronto.
Following a day of bombshell testimony regarding this and other meetings between Trudeau and Vigneault, Tuesday evening Commissioner Marie-Josée Hogue ruled that Vigneault will be recalled Friday for re-examination on his private discussions with the Prime Minister and Trudeau’s top aides.

The most horrifying truth is not that the interference happened. That is what Communist China does. Nor is it that the Liberals lied, denied, and had gov’t employees change the documents to abet the coverup. That is what the Liberals do.

Hogue: “To change the report?”
Vigneault: “That came a bit later, your honour. The first urge was to crap my pants when I realized the career damage I was facing if I didn’t do what the PMO wanted me to do.”
“The report lists that 11 political candidates as well as 13 political staff members were “assessed to be either implicated in or impacted by this group of threat actors,” and that “some of these threat actors received financial support from the People’s Republic of China.” ”
The government continues to conceal who these people are, beyond Han Dong.

We have to remember that China’s wealth was created with the world free trade agreements that started decades ago. It was corporate greed that bought our governments so good paying domestic jobs could leave with minimal penalties to now import cheap labour manufactured goods from overseas. To purchase imported stuff from say, South Korea or Taiwan is one thing but to allow a dangerous communist regime like China’s CCP to become so powerful is another.
To recap, our domestic privately owned businesses which grew from decades of patriots labour here at home, were allowed to gradually move overseas without check and balances. We consumers fell for the trap of cheap goods thus contributing to China rapid rise and influence and our own economic demise.
