Compare and contrast the Trudeau Liberal-NDP government’s reaction to Foreign Interference versus their proposed Online Harms Act.
For foreign interference the threshold for action is that it must be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt before the government reacts.
For Canadians, the Online Harms Act could incur large fines, house arrest or jail time for past, current or even future “crimes” based on an anonymous complainants feelings of harm with very little due process and truth is not allowed as a defense.
