The world’s oceans are “sinks” for excess carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is dissolved in water under conditions of temperature and pressure. When that deep cold water is circulated to the surface, carbon dioxide is released to the atmosphere. The world’s oceans moderate the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

The level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is at a systemically saturated state. Therefore it is reasonable to expect any reductions in carbon dioxide emissions will be countered by the release of dissolved carbon dioxide in the world’s oceans.

  2. Have you had enough of Canada yet? Looking to get out? Are you “not a criminal” Did you learn French in high school to appease Quebec or did you learn Spanish because it’s “warm everywhere Spanish is spoken”?

Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador:

Note… the criminals in El Salvador are still in the big house, they’re not walking free anytime soon, if ever.

Some countries have really, REALLY, had enough of how this century is looking,
Did you see how Ecuador dealt with the criminal hiding in the Embassy of Mexico yesterday? Lol… sure they’ll close the embassy, I think it’s important to know that if you’re a real criminal, the only place to hide is in North America…

Note to Jojothedogfacedboy, I’m curious as to how the beer is in El Salvador… about $2 / 500 ml in a bar…

You will not be able to find any change in CO2 levels no matter what you do. The release of CO2 from the global sink will counter any actions you take.

  4. There was a London journalist named Jeffrey Bernard who was a notorious alcoholic. He had a regular column in the Spectator, and was frequently too pissed to meet his deadline, on which occasion the magazine would run a note, “Mr. Bernard is unwell.” When he died, they wrote a play based on his life, called “Mr. Bernard Is Unwell”, which ran for some seasons in the West End.

Punch magazine once commissioned him to write an essay on the ideal English pub. He wrote that in the ideal English pub, the owners should be English, as only the English actually understand the licensing laws. But the bar staff should all be American or Irish. This was, he said, because only Americans learn how to mix drinks properly, and only the Irish can tell whether the customer actually needs the beer right now.
