  1. Too bloody stupid to realize they pried $25,000 out of his pocket to give him back ten.

    1. at $216k, before additional deductions he’d have $78k transferred by accounting entries from one government account (CBC) to two others (RevCan & Ontario MoF), assuming he lived in Ontario.

      1. Exactly.
Government employees that argue, “we pay taxes too”, fail to understand those taxes are merely a line item against the spending expenditure of their wages, which come from the ever-shrinking private sector.

  2. Fire everybody that works for government that makes over $150,000 a year including lawyers.

  3. Programs for the truly needy and “newcomers”, eh?

What happened to “means testing” for welfare programs

  4. How do all the muzzies end up on “intersectionality” panels? They do realize they’re down in the pecking order from the gags and trannies…

And how is a Muslim “refugee” earning >$200,000 in Canada

  5. It looks like the only thing that can be easily cut is 50 percent of Ottawa’s ministries and fifty percent of the civil service and their various committees. And would anyone really notice if the military was reconstituted into a national militia and littoral navy. We can’t afford to be in NATO anymore.

  6. Even government weenies making >$200K are starting to realize that THEY DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY, and a saving of $10K on childcare is a big freaking deal to them.

Ponder that, for a moment. Even the “winners” are losing.

    2. Exactly. 200k a year income now wouldn’t buy me the 1200 sq ft house I bought for 200k twenty years ago.

  7. Correction……not “earning” $216,000 per year……but being PAID $216,000 per year. BIG DIFFERENCE.

  8. Scuzzy?

    Nope

That’s just how a system of patronage works.
The court scribes only fight is to obtain favour from their patron.

  9. My daughter and son in law saved so much on child care they bought a vacation home. They had budgeted for full price daycare and so could pay cash.

  10. So he saved 10K by sending his 8 kids, his parents and grandparents, his 5 sister in laws, and several cousins to a daycare owned by his wife?
