5. The problem for the police is figuring out who is telling the truth in a he said, she said situation. However, it shouldn’t take a month but I imagine besides a horde of illegals willing to do this, there are a few unscupulous landlords who would tell the cops that a legal tenant is a squatter. If I was a renter, I’d want to make sure I had a lease agreement.

      The places that this is happening most often are in Blue zones where the cops can’t be bothered to do anything rapidly because the local politicians are just looking for another reason to crucify them.
