  2. Then as now.. High knowledge is a state secret.. We look around and its everywhere but give it a 1000 years and its just a whisper.. Yes, they had writing but knowledge was a trade, word of mouth thing.. Like a living language..

    A given.. You cant have advanced architecture without geometry.. Its everywhere in nature.. You cant have trade without mathematics because the deal demands it.. Add a few geniuses and away we go.. Or better yet put 25 geniuses in a room together ..

    LOLs.. People with autistic talents should not be overlooked either.. The human calculator :).. Feeding the geniuses with insight.. Around and around we go..

  3. The real story that everyone is missing is that they needed geometry to demarcate property to protect property rights.

    The advanced practices mentioned in the article – math, writing, geometry, surveying – were all necessary to effect and protect the notion that people own things and are free to use and exchange them.
