47 Replies to “Toronto Police Advise Key Fobs By the Door”

  1. I thought the customary practice when approaching criminals was to bring coffee and donuts.

    1. Leave A key / fob near the front door.

Ensure it is at an “adult” height.

Also ensure that the body of it has a coating of the two components of a binary nerve agent, one part on each side.

      Much hilarity may ensue.

  2. and there ya have it. the corollary, if ya DONT leave them handy having been advised, then, beatings and shootings. in. your. own. home.
    are
    all
    your
    fault.
‘mercuns got a nifty loophole called qualified immunity meaning it sure aint the cops’ fault.

    1. As a child, I watched Sgt Preston Candian Royal mounted.
      Didn’t spell correctly.
      Anyway…
Now I realize why Preston always offered cake, cream, hot coffee, and tea to robbery, murderous prisoners. Sometimes I dreamed of moving to Canada and becoming another AL Capone, or home invader. /Troll 2nd class.

  3. I was told by another police service in Canada showing Ring.com video is a violation of – the pieces of human garbage who are trying to steal from you – their civil rights.

  4. Another service we pay for and do NOT receive, it is about time taxpayers went on a tax strike refusing to remit taxes for services paid for but not received.

    1. Bring in a Millei or Musk to cut 60%

  5. To be fair, Toronto police are very busy giving coffee and donuts to Hamas supporters.

    1. When your enemy isn’t my enemy…

Here is something hilarious that no doubt is also a worry from Trudeau too.

The leadership in France is afraid that their Military will be cheerleaders as they want to invade Ukraine but it’s Military supports Russia.

Pissing off your soldiers isn’t a good idea by your politicians.

    1. And when they ask about why your dog is not restrained just smile and say the dog identifies as a police dog.

  6. What happens to this cop when one of the “stolen/given” cars is used by terrorists to run over people on Younge Street, again?

    1. Nothing will happen to Constable Marco Ricciardi of the Toronto Police Service, because he was instructed to go give this advice by his command. We can see that as the official policy of TPS in Comrade Chow’s Toronto.

    2. Those people should know better than to be walking on Younge St when terrorists are out and about. Honestly they asked for it.

  7. Make sure to leave the door unlocked to your bedroom so the pediatric surgeon can have free and unfettered access to your wife lest there be a media firestorm.

  8. No mention by Police of any other alternatives. Like an alarm system, or wheel locks, or trackers or anything else…..Simply “give them your keys”.

Even if they pretended, they should have mentioned additional alternatives whether they work or not.

  9. It’s interesting that the cops are telling us that the criminals have guns, while the government (and the cops) are telling us to give up ours.
No, the irony hasn’t escaped me. Government’s gun control agenda “to stop crime” is a complete failure.

    1. it was never to “Stop crime” it was to disarm the law abiding, so that the criminals and the government (but I repeat myself) would have easy pickings.

  10. This is what happens when you don’t give enough support to Ukraine. So, really, its Putin’s fault.

  11. My gun collection is quite valuable, should I leave it on the porch? Maybe put the whole safe on a trailer and hook it up to my truck for them.

  12. It is overdue for the Bar Society to do some introspection. The pursuit of legalities does not seem to be getting any closer to justice. Well, for non-lawyers, anyway.

  13. …and yet, the next time some doped-up maniac shoots up a cop, you people will start crying “think of the children” or some such mush.

    1. What’s wrong with birdshot? Or 9mm? Oh yeah, all will send you to jail here in the People’s Republic of Aholeistan.

  14. As we read to the bottom of these comments, we noticed that Trudeau’s name was only mentioned 1 time, and nothing derguartory or sensitive has been discussed.
You may continue with your comments.
Dept. Of Regulation and Speech Services. Under Threat of Life Imprisonment. Thank you.

    1. Gotta love these free speech folk, especially whey they don’t care about gun rights, like OJ and the gang.

    1. Grok: they’ll be quoting Confucius: “When rape is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it.”.

  15. Sounds like these LEOs would have fit right in at Uvalde…
    I think I have a better plan.

  16. Are they saying it would be racist not to make it easy for the vehicle liberators to take yours?

  17. What Hogtown votes for, Hogtown gets. Pretty sure Toronto voted almost all commie. My sympathy level remains at zero.

  18. Toronto police, RCMP and now the military. Whatever Bill Blair touches turns towoke useless shite.

  19. Government,Good Government..Now defined as “Services you pay for and never receive.”.
“We are ‘helping’ you”..Whatever that means.
With help like this we need no enemies.
Until we reward such minions for their “help” nothing will change.
In the past, civil society did two things.
1 Highwaymen were hanged and left hanging at crossroads.
2 Lazy, treacherous “helpers” were tarred, feathered and run out of town..Leaving the “helper” with no confusion about their value to said community.

Our current helpers are fools and bandits.
Having deliberately smashed the social contract, they will soon enough learn how necessary their “help” is to those who pay their bills.
As they demand their Right To Rule, they miss that little nugget of truth..We do not need them.
    They need us.
And now that they cannot perform the social duties they demanded exclusive contract too…
    Why pay ?
    No service?
    No Tax.

  20. Nuts.. completely bonkers. Now they’ve invited the criminal element to break into people’s front doors looking for the keys. And if/when they don’t find them, they’ll have the temerity to demand why the car keys aren’t waiting by the door and give you a good backhand for not complying.
